Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 棒状をなす工具本体２およびシヤンク部分３か
らなり、しかも工具本体２が刃先部分を除いた部
分では、６角形の横断面を呈するようになつてい
るテーパーエンドミルにおいて、 前記刃先部分は、工具本体２の先端で水平面４
ａ、起立面４ｂからなる３つのフルート溝４およ
び先端逃げ面５が形成されることにより構成され
、これに伴つて３枚刃の先端切刃稜６およびこれ
に続く外周切刃稜７が備えられ、しかも、先端切
刃稜６の先端角αがα＝１２０°〜１６０°、先
端外周切刃稜７の軸方向長さｌが先端刃先径Ｄ基
準でｌ＝（１〜１．５）Ｄに設定されており、 前記６角形の横断面は、その内角がβ１および
β２の交互配置で、しかもβ２＞β１＝１００°
〜１１０°の関係にあるとともに、内角β１側の
コーナー部分には、丸ランド８が形成されるよう
になつていることを特徴とするテーパーエンドミ
ル。
