Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an efficient tableware dryer shortening the time for drying by providing a bypass to a condenser between the sucking hole of a machine chamber and an evaporator and providing a damper for alternately opening/ closing the bypass and an air duct to the evaporator. CONSTITUTION: When the temperature of air in a tableware storage chamber 2 increases and waterdrops on the surface of tableware are evaporated into air, a damper 11 is moved up and a bypass 9 is closed. Therefore, high- temperature and high-humidity air in the tableware storage chamber 2 flows into a cooled evaporator 6, condensed air, turned to dry air, heated by a condenser 8 and sent again from a blowing hole 3 of a machine chamber 5 into the tableware storage chamber 2. Condensed water is dripped into a drain pan 13. This operation is alternately performed in fixed cycles. Since such a tableware dryer enlarges divided steam pressure difference between the waterdrops stuck on the tableware and air in the tableware storage chamber 2, the time for drying can be shortened and the tableware can be efficiently dried.

(Operation) First, when the heat pump is operated with the damper 11 covering the air path to the evaporator 6 as shown in Fig. 3, the air inside the dish storage chamber 2 is drawn by the blower 7 from the suction port 4 to the lower part of the dish dryer. It flows into the machine room 5, which is provided in The tableware 12 in the storage chamber 2 is heated. At this time, evaporator 6
Since the flow of air is stopped by the damper 11, the heat storage material (water) and the refrigerant exchange heat and store cold.

When the air in the tableware storage chamber 2 becomes hot and the water droplets on the surface of the tableware evaporate into the air, the damper 11 is activated as shown in FIG.
When the air is moved upward and the bypass path 9 is closed, the hot and humid air in the tableware storage room 2 flows to the evaporator 6 where it is cooled and condenses to become dry air, which is heated by the condenser 8 and passes through the blower 7 to the air outlet. 3, the food is sent into the tableware storage chamber 2 again. The condensed water falls into the drain pan 13. The above operations are performed alternately in a constant cycle.

Since the dish dryer of the present invention is configured as described above, by efficiently heating only the condenser, the water vapor partial pressure difference between the water droplets attached to the surface of the dishes and the air in the dish storage room is increased, and the water droplets are The water vapor that has dissolved into the air can be easily dissolved into the air, shortening the drying time and allowing efficient tableware drying. Moreover, the water vapor that has dissolved into the air is cooled and condensed and separated in an evaporator that also uses a heat storage material. It has great dehumidification ability.
