応じて互いに逆相の検出値を出力する第1及び第
2のトルク検出器と、これら第1及び第2のトル
ク検出器の検出値の差値を操舵トルク検出値とし
て算出する操舵トルク算出手段と、この操舵トル
ク算出手段の算出結果に基づいて前記電動機を駆
動する駆動手段と、を備えていることを特徴とす
