形である筒状の燃料噴射弁取付部をその軸線を吸
気通路軸と略一致させて突設し、前記燃料噴射弁
取付部の中空部に燃料噴射弁の噴孔部を吸気通路
下流側に向けて嵌挿支持してなる内燃機関の燃料
供給装置において、前記燃料噴射弁取付部の外面
に前記吸気通路軸と直角方向の断面積が略最大の
部分から下流側部分に段差をもつて減少する段差
部を形成する一方、前記燃料噴射弁取付部の吸気
通路下流側の端面を吸気通路上流側に傾斜するテ
ーパ面に形成して前記燃料噴射弁取付部の外周面
と鋭角的に交差するエツジ部を形成したことを特
