Claims (1)
の経皮電気的神経刺激用電極であつて、 上部表面と、皮膚へ接着するため身体と接触す
る下部表面をもつ本質的に乾燥した、身体に順応
する、導電性の、圧力に敏感な接着層と、 上記接着層の上記上部表面に電気的に接触して
接着する本質的に平坦な下部をもつと共に電気的
刺激装置と取外し可能に電気的接続する接続部を
もつ身体に順応する、一体構成の導電性接続器と
からなり、 上記接着層は、人間の皮膚と同様に50%まで
伸張し、また、 裏打部材が上記接続器及び上記接着層の上記上
部表面の少なくとも一部に接着しこれにより上記
接続器は上記接着層と電気的接触して保持され、
また上記裏打部材は、上記経皮電気的神経刺激用
電極が装着者の皮膚上に置かれた後は、上記接着
層に順応する十分な伸張性を示す経皮電気的神経
刺激用電極。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項の電極であ
つて、上記接続器は、シリコンゴム、可塑化ポリ
塩化ビニル、エピクロロヒドリンゴム、ポリテト
ラフルオロエチレン、又はエチレン・プロピレン
ジエンの重合体からなる群から選ばれた炭素含浸
重合物質からなる経皮電気的神経刺激用電極。 (3) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項の電極であ
つて、上記接着層は、上記上部表面及び下部表面
に導電性接着剤をもつ担体部分を含む経皮電気的
神経刺激用電極。 (4) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第3項の電極であ
つて、上記担体部分は不織ウエブである経皮電気
的神経刺激用電極。 (5) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第3項の電極であ
つて、上記接着剤は、メチルジエタノールアミン
で中和したアクリル酸ブチルーアクリル酸の共重
合体である経皮電気的神経刺激用電極。 (6) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第5項の電極であ
つて、上記アクリル酸ブチルとアクリル酸のモル
比は75:25であり、また上記共重合体は95
モル%にジエタノールアミンで中和される経皮電
気的神経刺激用電極。 (7) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項の電極であ
つて、上記裏打部材はビニールフオームである経
皮電気的神経刺激用電極。[Claims for Utility Model Registration] (1) A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation electrode for electrically stimulating nerves through the skin, comprising an upper surface and a lower surface that contacts the body for adhesion to the skin. an essentially dry, body-compliant, electrically conductive, pressure sensitive adhesive layer having an essentially flat lower portion electrically contacting and adhering to the upper surface of the adhesive layer; a body-conforming, one-piece electrically conductive connector with a removable electrical connection to a physical stimulator, the adhesive layer stretching up to 50% similar to human skin; a backing member adheres to at least a portion of the top surface of the connector and the adhesive layer, thereby retaining the connector in electrical contact with the adhesive layer;
Further, the backing member exhibits sufficient extensibility to conform to the adhesive layer after the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation electrode is placed on the skin of a wearer. (2) In the electrode set forth in claim 1 of the utility model registration claim, the connector is made of silicone rubber, plasticized polyvinyl chloride, epichlorohydrin rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, or ethylene-propylene diene polymer. An electrode for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation made of a carbon-impregnated polymeric material selected from the group consisting of: (3) The electrode for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive layer includes a carrier portion having a conductive adhesive on the upper and lower surfaces. (4) The electrode for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation according to claim 3 of the utility model registration, wherein the carrier portion is a nonwoven web. (5) The electrode for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation according to claim 3, wherein the adhesive is a copolymer of butyl acrylate and acrylic acid neutralized with methyldiethanolamine. (6) The electrode according to claim 5 of the utility model registration claim, wherein the molar ratio of butyl acrylate and acrylic acid is 75:25, and the copolymer is 95:25.
Electrodes for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation neutralized with diethanolamine to mol%. (7) The electrode for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation according to claim 1 of the utility model registration claim, wherein the backing member is a vinyl foam.
