Claims (1)
PCMデータと、所定期間ずつ前記PCMデータ
の前後に位置し少なくともパイロツト信号及び消
去信号を包含するトラツキング検出用信号とから
なる記録信号が回転ヘツドにより磁気記録媒体に
順次トラツクを形成して記録され、再生時、前記
回転ヘツドを前記トラツク上に走査して前記記録
信号を再生することにより、前記磁気記録媒体の
走行を制御するキヤプスタンのトラツキング制御
を行なう磁気記録再生装置であつて、 記録時、前記回転ヘツドを切換える切換信号に
基づいて前記パイロツト信号及び前記消去信号を
生成する第1及び第2のタイミング信号を発生す
る第1及び第2のタイミング信号発生回路と、 前記第1及び前記第2のタイミング信号発生回
路からの前記第1及び前記第2のタイミング信号
に基づいて前記パイロツト信号及び前記消去信号
を発生する第1及び第2の信号発生回路と、 少なくとも前記パイロツト信号及び前記消去信
号を増幅し、かつ、前記第2のタイミング信号に
応じてその出力ゲインを調整する増幅回路とを有
し、前記増幅回路で増幅された前記消去信号の記
録電流のみ増加することにより、前記磁気記録媒
体に既に記録されてある前記パイロツト信号の消
去率を向上することを特徴とする磁気記録再生装
