形を示す。第４図はエンジン回転数と音圧レベル
との関係を本考案と従来の自動車用マフラについ
て比較した図である。第５図は従来の自動車用マ
フラの側面図を示す。第６，７図はともに従来の
メーン消音器の縦断側面図を示す。 １，２……排気管（排気通路）、４……メーン
消音器、５……バイパス通路、６……サブ消音器
。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 排気通路の一部にメーン消音器を取り付け、こ
    のメーン消音器より上流側において排気通路をバ
    イパスしてメーン消音器に連通するバイパス通路
    を設け、このバイパス通路にサブ消音器を装着し
    たことを特徴とする自動車用マフラ。
