1本の材料から得られる竹ヒゴの本数が少なく、
竹の身の部分の大部分が無駄に捨てられる。ま
た、カツタの刃部が鋸刃状であるため、切断時に
生ずる切削屑が逃げ難く、カツタが過熱して竹ヒ
ゴが焦げる場合があり、刃部が摩耗した場合、研
摩に手数がかかるなどの問題もある。

の両カツタによる溝によつて竹ヒゴ材料を複数の
竹ヒゴに分割するように構成し、前記各回転カツ
タは、回転軸に固定した一方の支持リングと、同
回転軸にねじ込んだナツトにより締付けられる着
脱自在の他方の支持リング間に着脱自在に固定し
た弧状刃物部材からなるものとし、この弧状刃物
部材の端縁を刃先部とし、この刃先部を各支持リ
ングの突部で位置決めして支持リングの外周から
突出させ、この弧状刃物部材の外周に周方向の複
数の溝を形成してこの溝により前記刃先を複数に
分割し、弧状刃物部材と回転軸間には外部に通じ
る空間を形成することにより、皮と身からなる分
厚い竹ヒゴ材料を狭いピツチで切断することによ
り多数の竹ヒゴが得られるとともに、刃先部を有
する弧状刃物部材の表裏両面が常に空気に接触し
ているから過熱のおそれがなく、また、切削屑の
排出も良好であるから、竹ヒゴが焦げるようなお
それがないなどの特徴を有するものである。

に着脱自在に固定した弧状刃物部材からなるもの
とし、この弧状刃物部材の端縁を刃先部とし、こ
の刃先部を各支持リングの突部で位置決めして支
持リングの外周から突出させ、この弧状刃物部材
の外周に周方向の複数の溝を形成してこの溝によ
り前記刃先を複数に分割し、弧状刃物部材と回転
軸間には外部に通じる空間を形成した竹ヒゴ製造
装置。
