クリユー羽根が受ける抵抗が少なく所要駆動力
が小さく、 (c) 屠体が損傷を受ける虞れが無く、 (d) ガスによる処理を併行的に進めるに適し、 (e) スクリユー羽根を高速回転させても水滴を飛
散させる虞れが無く、作業環境の維持に好適
な、 食鳥の冷却搬送装置を提供しようとするもので
ある。

少で済み、その上、屠体が損傷を蒙る虞れも無
い。

散させる虞れが無いという優れた実用的効果を
奏する。

上記直円筒状部分内の水位は該直円筒状部内を満
たしていることを特徴とする、食鳥の冷却搬送装
置。 2 前記スクリユー羽根の軸は、中空管状をな
し、かつ、その両端部を軸受によつて支承されて
おり、中央部付近に軸受を備えていないことを特
徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の食鳥の冷
却搬送装置。 3 前記の直円筒状水路の下流側は水槽内に開口
しており、該直円筒状水路の上流側はテーパ状に
拡開されて大径円筒状の投入層に接続しており、
該投入層はその上部に屠体投入口を設けたもので
あることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項に記
載の食鳥の冷却搬送装置。 4 上記投入槽は、該投入槽内の水位を制御する
手段を備えたものであり、該制御手段の制御水位
は前記直円筒状水路内の一番高い所よりも上方に
