Recently, TVs have been installed on the dash boards of vehicles.
Various types of vehicle information, driving routes, and public broadcasting information are displayed, but when a driver looks at such displays while the vehicle is in motion, some drivers may notice that the surroundings change from moment to moment. There is a possibility that the driver may misunderstand the situation and the display on the television device, or may become distracted by the display on the television device and become negligent in driving. For this reason, it is desirable to make the television device invisible to the driver while the vehicle is running. An example of a vehicle-mounted television device that takes such measures is the device described in U.S. Pat. No. 57-9247, which was previously proposed by the applicant. This device cuts off images to the driver by rotating the television receiver body when the vehicle is running. However, such a television set has a structure in which the entire television receiver is moved, so there is a problem in that it requires a large amount of installation space.

In order to achieve this objective, the in-vehicle television device of the present invention has a light-shielding filter made of fine louvers arranged approximately parallel to each other at a predetermined angle of inclination in front of the screen of the television receiver installed at the front of the vehicle interior. , and this light-shielding filter is movable between a first position where the screen is not blocked for the driver's seat side and the passenger seat side, and a second position where the screen is blocked only for the driver's seat side, and when the vehicle is running. This device is characterized in that the video output is input to the screen only when the light shielding filter is in the second position.

First, in FIG. 1, a light-shielding filter 1 is attached to a television receiver main body 3 through a filter case 2. As shown in FIG. As shown in Fig. 2, this light-shielding filter 1 consists of fine parallel louvers with a width of 1.0 mm and a thickness of about 0.01 mm, inclined upward at an angle of 20° to 30° toward the interior of the vehicle. . A male threaded portion 2a for attachment is provided at the bottom of the filter case 2 into which the light-shielding filter 1 is fitted. TV receiver body 3
It has a built-in cathode ray tube 4, a display control circuit, a power supply circuit, etc. (not shown). Further, a guide groove 3a is bored in the front surface of the television receiver main body 3 so that a male threaded portion 2a for attaching the filter case 2 is fitted therein. To attach the filter case 2 to the television receiver main body 3, as shown in FIG. 3, which shows the cross section taken along the line A-A in FIG. 2 can rotate and move along the guide groove 3a. This rotation angle is set to approximately 90°.

A power switch 7 is used by the passenger to turn on or off the television set. 8 is a power supply circuit that supplies power to this television set, and 9 is a vehicle battery.

As shown in FIG. 5a, when the louvers 1a are aligned in a substantially horizontal direction and are inclined upward toward the interior of the vehicle, the louvers 1a are light-shielding for both the driver's eyes A and the front passenger's eyes B. The louver 1a of the filter 1 is in the first position where it does not block the screen, and the limit switch 5 is turned off. Therefore, unless the handbrake is pulled and the handbrake switch 6 is turned on, the television image will not be displayed even if the power switch 7 is turned on. Therefore, both the driver's seat and the passenger's seat can only watch TV images during a power outage when the handbrake is pulled.

向けて注意力が失われることはない。 If the state shown in Fig. 5a is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 5a, the 5th
The state shown in Figure b is reached. In this state, the louvers 1a are aligned approximately vertically and are inclined toward the passenger seat side in the vehicle interior, so they block the screen from the driver's eyes A.
This is the second position that does not block the screen for the passenger's eyes B. At this time, the limit switch 5 is in contact with the male threaded portion 2a or nut 2a' for attaching the filter case 2, as shown in FIG. 3, and is turned on. Therefore, when the power switch 7 is turned on, power is supplied to the power circuit 8 regardless of whether the handbrake switch 6 is on or off, so that the television image is displayed on the screen. However, at this time, the television image can be viewed by the passenger in the front passenger seat, but cannot be viewed from the driver's seat because it is blocked by the louver 1a.
In the apparatus of this embodiment, switching from the first position to the second position is performed by manually rotating the filter case 2 to which the light-shielding filter 1 is attached. In other words, when the vehicle is stopped and both the front passenger seat passenger and the driver enjoy watching TV images, the filter 1 is manually rotated to the first position, and when the vehicle starts moving, the filter 1 is manually switched to the second position. By switching to , the front passenger can enjoy the video even while driving. During driving, the driver cannot see the image whether the filter 1 is in the first position or the second position, so the driver will not lose attention by turning his eyes to the screen while driving.

もよい。 In the above-described embodiment, a handbrake switch is used as a vehicle running detection means, but a vehicle speed sensor or the like may be used instead. Further, as means for switching the filter 1 from the first position to the second position, a motor capable of rotating in both forward and reverse directions is driven in accordance with the output of the traveling detecting means, and when the vehicle is stopped, the filter 1 is moved to the first position. Furthermore, the filter 1 may be automatically switched to the second position when the vehicle is running. Furthermore, when the vehicle is running when the filter 1 is in the first position, only the video output may be turned off and the audio output may remain on, without turning off both the video output and the audio output of the television set.

In some cases, the video may be output to the screen.
Alternatively, when the filter 2 is set to the first position while the vehicle is stopped to receive public television broadcasts, and when the vehicle starts moving, it may be configured to automatically switch to images of various information about the vehicle and continue outputting only the audio. .

As described in detail above, the in-vehicle television device of the present invention has a light-shielding filter consisting of parallel fine louvers having a predetermined inclination angle in one direction in front of the screen of the television receiver on the driver's seat side and the passenger's seat side. Since it is movable between the first position that does not block the screen and the second position that blocks the screen only for the driver's seat side, it does not take up much space and has a simple and inexpensive structure that makes it easier for the driver while driving. This makes it possible for passengers other than the driver to enjoy the images even while driving.
