字を行なうようにしたサーマルプリンタが存す
る。このようなものは用紙3のみを送方向に送る
場合に用紙3をリボン4から離して用紙3の汚れ
を防止する必要がある。このため、プラテン1と
サーマルヘツド2とを相対的に離反しうるように
接離自在に支持する必要があるが、このようなも
のは構造が複雑化する欠点を有している。

示す状態まで用紙3とリボン4とを同速で送り他
の色で印字する。このような動作を三回繰り返す
ことにより三色の印字が行なわれる。したがつ
て、用紙3にはラベルや入場券のような内容が連
続して印字される。
