に穿孔作業や、溝加工を行なうビツトに関するも
のである。

従来技術 従来一般に広く用いられているルータビツトと
しては片刃、若しくは両刃が削り出し或いはろう

ある。これ等は面倒なろう付作業を必要とし砥ぎ
直しが制限され寿命が比較的短かく経済的でな
い。そこで近年スローアウエイチツプ方式により
切刃を取替えできるようになしたものが出ている
が、側刃による円周切削の切れ味を向上させるた
めにチツプの取付けにすきい角がつけてあり、こ
のためスローアウエイチツプの底刃は底外周部は
切削するが、中心部近辺は切削できない。このよ
うに中心部に底刃が設けられていないため穴明け
作業ができない不便がある。このためシヤンク先
端に特別に底刃を設けたものがあるが、底刃形成
の特別の工程を必要としコストアツプとなる欠点
を有している。

実施例 以下本考案の実施例を図面にもとづき説明す
る。シヤンク1の刃部となる端部には平底2がシ
ヤンク中心より深く入り直径に対してほゞ対称な
V形をした溝3が軸方向に削設されている。この
V溝3のV面4に両側面が側刃5として、また先
端が底刃6としての切刃が形成されたスローアウ
エイチツプ7が側刃5の刃先をV溝3側に向けて
位置決めされ、梯形断面をした押え板8を介して
ボルト9によつてシヤンク1に固定される。この
押え板8は先端面の梯形面の底辺側から頂辺に向
けて斜めにそがれ頂辺が底刃10として作用する
鋭角の切刃が形成されている。またスローアウエ
イチツプ7を押える側の底辺には切屑の流れを良
くするすくい面11と、スローアウエイチツプを
押えるV面には遠心力でスローアウエイチツプ7
が飛び出さないように後述のU溝に係合する凸条
12が形成されている。そしてV面の角度はV溝
3の角度と等しいか僅かに大きな角度のV形に形
成され、スローアウエイチツプ7を取付けたとき
確実に固定できるようにし、更に底刃10がシヤ
ンク1の中心線またはその近くに位置するような
巾に形成されている。そして押え板8がスローア
ウエイチツプ7を固定したときスローアウエイチ
ツプ7の底刃6に対して押え板8の底刃10は僅
かに引込んだ状態に位置される。このように底刃
10より底刃6が僅かに突出しているので溝加工
の場合にルータビツトを回転させながら溝形成方
向に横移動させると底刃10による中心部の下加
工面はスローアウエイチツプ7の鋭利な底刃6に
よつて仕上げ加工が行われるため、底刃10のす
くい角が零度若しくは負の角度となつて切れ味が
劣ることによる仕上面の悪いことは一向に問題に
ならず、また押え板8の底刃10を鋭利に研磨す
る必要もなくなるものである。本実施例ではスロ
ーアウエイチツプ7は刃のすくい面側すなわち後
述の押え板側の表面巾中央に長手方向両端に達す
るU溝7aを削設した長方形であるが、他の実施
例を示す第6図、第7図、第8図はスローアウエ
イチツプ7′の長手方向のU溝7′aを両端まで削
設せず中央部のみに設け、そして底刃部分を底外
周が深く入る形の菱形に形成したものである。こ
のようになしたためU溝は完全に若しくは殆どが
覆われて穴明け切削中切屑がU溝と押え板凸条と
のすきまに喰い込まずかつU溝部にたまらずまた
穴底部に切削できない部分がなくなり更に切れ味
が良くなつて切削性を向上させることができ、ま
たスローアウエイチツプのU溝に押え板の凸条が
係合し遠心力でスローアウエイチツプが飛び出す
ことを防止できるものである。このスローアウエ
イチツプ7′は押え板8に底刃10が形成されて
いないルータビツトにも使用できることは勿論で
ある。底刃は押え板に蝋付でもよい。
