[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a processing device for sewing and fixing a wire such as a heating wire into a cloth body using a sewing machine.

(Prior art) Conventionally, when producing electric blankets or electric sheets, when interposing the heating wire between the front side and the back side, the core cloth placed inside was either overlocked or fastened.
When weaving the core cloth, a method has been used in which a string is woven into the intended position of the wire, and when the string is pulled out later, the wire is hidden at the same time.

When using this method, the disadvantage is that the core fabric moves inside and the heating wire is unstable, so it is required to use thick fabric for the front or back side and to sew the heating wire directly to it. However, because the fabric is so thick, the only way to do it is by hand-sewing it.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) Fixing the wire rod to the core cloth as described above requires troublesome work and also has drawbacks such as the core cloth moving between the front side and the back side. Also, when sewing the wire directly to the thick front or back side of the fabric, hand sewing was the only way. When fixing the wire with a sewing machine, the wire moves during the sewing process and the position is not fixed, so even if you use a sewing machine to zigzag, there are problems such as the needle hitting the wire, and even more so when fixing multiple wires at the same time. I couldn't do it.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In view of the above, the present invention has been devised to improve the conventional sewing machine so as to be able to reliably sew even a plurality of wires at the same time.

In a sewing machine, such as an automatic embroidery machine or a quilting machine, which has a vertical fabric feed mechanism and a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the fabric from side to side, both ends are fixed to the horizontal movement mechanism and the machine is integrated with the horizontal movement mechanism. A movable bridge is provided upstream of the cloth presser, a short tube is fixed downstream from the bridge, the tip of the short tube is configured to be close to the sewing machine needle, and the wire is fed from the upstream side of the short tube. This is a wire sewing device characterized in that the wire is fed and the wire is sewn onto the fabric when the wire exits the tip of the short tube.

(Function) The head of the sewing machine has a fixed position, and the needle is lowered into the needle hole of the fabric presser that protrudes below the head, and the process of lifting the fabric press as the needle rises is repeated, during which time the fabric is It moves horizontally and feeds vertically. Horizontal movement moves the fabric in either the left or right direction with each stitch of the needle, while vertical movement moves the fabric only in the direction of product delivery.

In automatic embroidery machines, when the vertical feed length of the embroidery frame is completed, the fabric is removed from the frame, the embroidery frame is returned to its original position, the unprocessed part of the fabric is fixed in the frame again, and the next process begins. I try to repeat it.

During processing, the wire is fed out from a reel installed above the sewing machine, inserted into the short tube from the upstream side of the short tube, and one end of the wire is temporarily fastened to the edge of the fabric on the feeding side. For example, when processing is started based on instructions from a zigzag stitch program, the fabric is moved left and right and fed vertically with each stitch. Therefore, since the tip of the short tube placed close to the cloth presser moves left and right around the needle, the wire is fixed by the thread at the tip of the short tube.

Although the fabric is fed vertically, the short tube only moves laterally from side to side along with the fabric, and the wire inserted through the short tube is moved laterally and vertically along with the fabric.

In this manner, the wire is sewn onto the fabric based on the sewing command, and the wire may be fixed in a straight line or may be fixed in a wavy manner.

(Example) Next, an example in which the present invention is applied to an automatic embroidery machine will be explained.
The figure is a plan view, and the cloth presser 2 and needle 3 protrude from the underside of the head 1. When sewing, the cloth presser 2 lowers and presses the fabric 4, and the needle 3 passes through the needle hole of the cloth presser 2. thread through the cloth, and sew with the thread passed through needle 3. Reference numeral 5 denotes an embroidery frame that fixes the fabric 4 from all four sides, and is supported via rollers 6 of the vertical feed mechanism and rollers 7 of the horizontal movement mechanism (Fig. 2).
The rollers 7 are configured to slide on the back sides of the vertical bars constituting the embroidery frame 5 as rails, and the rollers 6 slide on the rails on the back sides of the horizontal bars. The range of movement of the rollers 6, 7 is regulated by grooves 12 and 12' cut in the base. A bridge 8 connected to the lateral movement mechanism is disposed close to the fabric 4 in the embroidery frame 5, and a short tube 9 is fixed to the bridge 8. 9 is provided with the tip facing the downstream (vertical feeding) direction. A wire 10 is wound around a reel 11 and is used by inserting it into a short tube 9 and letting out the wire.

At the start of work, the embroidery frame is returned to the 5' position as far as it will go, and the fabric 4 is held between the embroidery frames 5. The wire 10 is unwound from the reel 11 and inserted into the short tube 9 on the upstream side of the needle, and the end of the wire is clamped in the embroidery frame 5 together with the edge of the fabric, and then the embroidery begins. Movement of the embroidery frame is performed according to preprogrammed commands. With each stitch, the fabric moves with the frame, and the tip of the short tube 9 moves left and right upstream of the needle 3, and the wire inserted into the short tube is sewn securely when it exits the tip of the short tube, and the wire rod The needle will not float from side to side and the needle will not pass through the wire or the wire will not escape.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 shows a state in which wire rods are sewn in parallel by a sewing machine, and a plurality of wire rods are simultaneously fixed in a wavy shape by a plurality of heads. I have never seen an example of wire material being sewn using a conventional sewing machine in this way.

If the wire is sewn exposed on the fabric, it may look unsightly, so it is also possible to feed the ribbon along the wire and onto the wire and sew at the same time. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the wire and the ribbon can be sewn together by passing the wire 10 through a cylindrical ribbon 13, feeding them together from the short tube 9, and sewing them onto the fabric 4. Alternatively, the ribbon and wire can be sewn simultaneously by other means.

Although the automatic embroidery machine has been described above, the function of the quilting machine is almost the same, the only difference being that an embroidery frame is not used. That is, the lateral movement mechanism is a mechanism that separately moves the original fabric reel and the take-up reel from side to side, independently of the vertical feeding mechanism.

(Effects of the invention) Previously, it was only possible to directly fix wires such as heating wires to thick fabrics such as electric blankets by sewing by hand, but with the present invention, it is now possible to sew with a sewing machine. Therefore, it is possible to fix multiple wires at once, thus eliminating the need for the heating wire to move internally as in the past, and making it possible to sew the wire into shapes other than straight or wavy using a program. This makes it possible to apply the present invention in a wide range of applications, and the effects are that much greater.
