生石灰(CaO)に水を加えると発熱反応して消

食性のものではなく衛生的とはいえない。また実
公昭52−28711および実開昭58−105880号公報に
は生石灰と食品とを別々の袋に入れることにより
生石灰や消石灰が食品の外装材料に付着すること
を防止しているがそのため発生した熱を伝える熱
伝導性が劣つている。以上の3件の公報はいずれ
も粉末状、顆粒状、もしくは塊状の生石灰を使用
することについて記載されているもので、生石灰
は重力により下方に片寄つてしまい、均一な加熱
が難かしく、また傾けると水がこぼれてしまう等
