[Technical Field] The present invention relates to an elegant colored powder. More specifically, the present invention relates to colored powder obtained by crushing a colored foil consisting of a pigmented resin coating and a thin metal film. [Conventional technology] Traditionally, Buddhist altars, Buddhist utensils, sliding doors, lacquerware, pottery, fans,
Foil stamping using an ancient Japanese method for high-quality decorations such as picture frames, marks, and books, as well as packaging for confectionery, dairy products, other foods, medicines, cosmetics, and cigarettes, and for the production of artificial flowers. (gold leaf,
Afterwards, powder of metallized foil, which consists of a metallized film and a resin coating on one or both sides, came to be used; however, with this metallized foil, Due to the synergistic effect of the transparent resin coating and metal vapor deposition film, the surface gloss is extremely strong compared to the powder obtained from stamping foil (gold leaf, silver leaf) using the traditional Japanese manufacturing method, so the Japanese preference is to weaken the luster. Colored powders that have an elegant, elegant metallic luster and come in a variety of colors are sometimes desired. [Purpose of the invention] The purpose of the invention is that it does not use the traditional Japanese manufacturing method, and even when compared to the powder obtained from stamping leaf (gold leaf, silver leaf) using the traditional Japanese manufacturing method, it has an elegant metallic luster with no discoloration. The aim is to provide colored powders that are free of color. [Structure of the invention] The present invention is an elegant metal consisting of at least a pigment-colored resin coating A and a metal thin film B, which are made up of crushed pieces of colored powder formed by closely laminating A/B in the order. It relates to a colored powder with luster. [Embodiment] Next, the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. FIG. 1 is an enlarged sectional view showing an embodiment of the colored powder of the present invention. That is, the colored powder of the present invention includes two embodiments: one in which the pigmented colored resin coating A is provided on one side of the metal thin film B, and one in which the pigmented colored resin coating A is provided on both sides of the metal thin film B. It will be done. In this specification, metal thin film B refers to vacuum evaporation method,
This term includes all metal thin films formed by ordinary metal thin film forming methods (including alloys, hereinafter the same) such as sputtering and ion blating. In this invention, the metal thin film B is usually 10 to 100 mμ
, preferably from 25 to 100 mμ, more preferably from 30 to 80 mμ. If the thickness of the metal thin film is less than 10 mμ, the metal thin film has almost no light reflectivity, and a sufficiently elegant metallic luster cannot be obtained, which is not preferable. On the other hand, even if the thickness exceeds 100 mμ, the light reflectivity of the metal thin film does not change, so it has no effect on the elegant metallic luster and is not desirable from an economic point of view. Examples of metals for forming such a metal thin film B include aluminum, copper, gold, silver, platinum,
Chromium, indium, zinc, tin, nickel, titanium, etc. are used, and aluminum is usually preferably used because of its light reflectance and economic efficiency. In the colored powder of the present invention, pigment colored resin coating film A
The thickness of usually ranges from 0.1 to 5μ, more preferably 0.5
Selected from the range of ~3μ. Pigment colored resin coating A
If the thickness is less than 0.1 μm, it is difficult to form a continuous pigmented resin coating A and an elegant metallic luster cannot be obtained, which is not preferred. On the other hand, if it exceeds 5μ, the colored powder becomes hard and rough as a whole, and lacks the smooth and elegant texture characteristic of conventional gold and silver powder (obtained from stamping foil). This is not preferable because it impairs the gold-painting properties of objects to be decorated, such as Buddhist altar fittings. As the resin for forming the pigmented resin coating A, any of thermoplastic resins, thermosetting resins, electron beam curable resins, and ultraviolet curable resins may be used, such as acrylic resins, vinyl chloride-acetic acid, etc. Vinyl copolymer, polyvinyl butyral, polycarbonate, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, urethane resin, urea resin, melamine resin, urea-melamine resin, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, aminoalkyd resin, rosin-modified maleic acid Resins and the like are preferably used alone or in blends. The pigment-colored resin coating film A is formed by applying an organic solvent solution, aqueous solution, etc. of the resin to form the pigment-colored resin coating film A using a conventional coating method such as a roll coating method, a gravure coating method, a reverse coating method, a spray coating method, etc. This is done by coating the resin by a method and drying (curing in the case of thermosetting resin, electron beam curing resin, ultraviolet curing resin, etc.). In the colored powder of the present invention, the metal thin film B itself that constitutes the colored powder has weak mechanical strength and is easily damaged by friction.
In the case where the pigment-colored resin coating A is provided on one side of the metal thin film B, a protective resin coating may be provided on the surface of the metal thin film B. There is no particular limit to the thickness of the protective resin coating, but it is usually
It is appropriately selected from the range of about 0.5 to 2μ. As the resin for forming such a protective resin coating, for example, those used in the pigment-colored resin coating A are preferably used, and the resin forming the pigment-colored resin coating A and the protective resin coating are preferably used. The resin used may be the same or different. Pigment colored resin coating A contains titanium oxide, zinc white,
Ritobon, lead white, red lead, red iron, yellow lead, dark blue,
Pigments such as ultramarine blue and carbon black are added alone or in combination with other coloring powders for the purpose of coloring and controlling gloss. The colored powder of the present invention is prepared by providing a protective resin coating (undercoat) on a support, if necessary, and forming a pigment colored resin coating A and a metal thin film B on top of the protective resin coating, so that at least these A/B Form a colored powder that is closely layered in this order,
That is, (1) the pigment-colored resin coating A and the metal thin film B are provided in this order, (2) the metal thin film B and the pigment-colored resin coating A are provided in this order, or (3) the pigment-colored resin coating A, The metal thin film B and the pigmented resin coating A are provided in this order to form a colored foil, and if necessary, a protective resin coating (top coating) is further provided, and then the colored foil (or this and the protective resin coating) is formed. It can be easily obtained by peeling the integrated structure (integrated structure with In the present invention, there are no particular restrictions on the method of pulverizing the colored foil; for example, mechanical pulverization methods using a hammer mill, ball mill, kneader, jet pulverizer, etc., freeze pulverization methods, hand kneading methods, etc. may be employed. As the support, any material can be used as long as it has sufficient self-retention properties and a smooth surface, such as polyester, polyamide, polyamideimide, polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose acetate, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, Resins such as fluororesin, films or sheets of cellophane, films or sheets of stainless steel or other metals, glass plates, and the like are used as appropriate. Various methods can be employed to peel off the colored foil (or the integral structure of this and the protective resin coating) from the support. For example, there is a method in which a colored foil is provided on a support directly or via a peeling layer, and then this is mechanically peeled off. Mechanical peeling is performed by, for example, pulling the colored foil on the support, stretching or bending the laminate of the support and the colored foil, or applying vibration to the laminate to make it easier to peel. This is done by suctioning through paper or the like using a vacuum suction machine. In particular, a method in which a film-like material of the above-mentioned resins with a thickness of about 6 to 100 μm is used as a support, and the laminate is peeled off by stretching is used to continuously produce colored foils in large quantities without wrinkles or cracks. This is preferable because it is possible. If the support does not have good releasability from the colored foil, the surface of the support may be treated with silicone resin, wax, surfactant, metal oxide, fluororesin, or the like. Alternatively, a resin film soluble in water or an organic solvent is provided on the support, a colored foil (or an integrated structure of this and a protective resin coating) is provided on the support, and then this laminate is soluble in water or an organic solvent. An example of this method is to peel the colored foil from the support by dipping it to dissolve the resin film. In this case, the support, the pigmented resin coating A, and the protective resin coating are made of materials that are not attacked by the water or organic solvent used to dissolve the resin coating. As resin for resin coating,
For example, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl butyral, gelatin, casein, methylcellulose, ethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylmethylether, starch, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride Examples include resins soluble in water or organic solvents, such as copolymers, acrylic resins, polyamide resins, and polyester resins, either alone or in blends. The thickness of the resin coating is usually 0.1
Appropriately selected from the range of ~2μ. [Example] Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to an example. Example 1 A 40% (wt%) solution of titanium oxide pigment and epoxy resin (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and toluene) and isocyanate were placed on a 40μ thick polypropylene film.
A paint mixed with a 40% solution (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, toluene, and ethyl acetate) in a ratio of 2:49:49 was applied and dried to form a pigmented resin coating A with a thickness of about 0.5μ. . Next, aluminum was applied onto the pigmented resin coating A to a thickness of about 50 mμ by vacuum evaporation to form a metal thin film B. Titanium oxide pigment and epoxy resin
A 40% solution (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and toluene) and a 40% solution of isocyanate (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, toluene, and ethyl acetate) in 2:
A paint mixed in a ratio of 49:49 was applied and dried to form a pigmented resin coating A having a thickness of approximately 0.5 μm. Next, this laminate is applied to a suction peeling machine to peel off the polypropylene film at the interface between the pigmented resin coating A and the pigmented resin coating A and the metal thin film B.
and pigment-colored resin coating film A (in this case, it is silvery white and the gloss is moderately suppressed).
A colored foil having the following properties is obtained. Next, this colored foil was crushed using a jet pulverizer to obtain a colored powder having an average particle size within the range shown in Table 2 and having a silvery white color (a color different from that of aluminum metal) and an elegant metallic luster. Example 2 A 40% solution of titanium oxide pigment and epoxy resin (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and toluene) and a 40% solution of isocyanate (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and toluene) were placed on a polypropylene film in the same manner as in Example 1. , ethyl acetate mixed solvent) in a ratio of 2:49:49 was applied and dried to form a pigmented resin coating A having a thickness of approximately 1 μm. Next, aluminum was applied onto the pigmented resin coating A to a thickness of about 50 mμ by a vacuum vapor method to form a metal thin film B.
Then, on the metal thin film B, a 40% solution of cadmium red pigment and epoxy resin (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and toluene) and a 40% solution of isocyanate (using a mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, toluene, and ethyl acetate) was applied.
A pigmented resin coating film A having a thickness of about 1 μm was formed by coating and drying a paint mixture of 6:47:47. Next, this laminate is applied to a suction peeling machine to peel off the polypropylene film at the interface between the pigmented resin coating A and the pigmented resin coating A and the metal thin film B.
and pigment-colored resin coating film A, a colored foil was obtained that had a unique color on both sides and an elegant metallic luster (in this case, one side was pale red and the other side was silvery-white, and the luster was suppressed). . Next, this colored foil is crushed using a jet pulverizer to create an elegant product with dichroism of silvery white (a color different from that of aluminum metal) and light red, with an average particle size within the range shown in Table 2. A colored powder with a metallic luster was obtained. Next, this colored powder (average particle size 20μ, thickness about 2μ)
A paint was prepared by mixing and dispersing a mixture of 5 parts of polyamide resin and 20 parts of polyamide resin in a mixed solvent of isopropyl alcohol, toluene, and ethyl alcohol, which was applied to a plastic ball and dried to form a coating film with a thickness of 20 μm. The resulting paint film had a beautiful pale red metallic luster, resembling pink pearls. [Effect] As is clear from Examples 1 and 2, in the case of Example 1, both sides were silvery-white and an elegant metallic luster with moderately suppressed gloss, while in the case of Example 2, one side was silvery-white and had an elegant metallic luster. Colored powders were obtained in which the other side was pale red and had an elegant metallic luster with moderately suppressed luster. The colored powder of the present invention can be used for purposes for which gold and silver powders have been conventionally used. This colored powder has a metallic luster with various desired colors compared to the monotonous color of conventional gold and silver powders, and is highly decorative, so it can be used for all kinds of purposes like conventional gold and silver powders. used.
