Picture books usually simply have interesting pictures printed on each page, so young children only understand the contents of the picture book visually, so they may lack understanding or get bored easily. There were problems with storage etc. In response to this, picture books have been proposed that generate sounds in conjunction with opening a page. However, the sounds generated by such conventional picture books are extremely simple, and do not, for example, explain the content of the picture book or play a melody that matches the content of the picture book.

On the other hand, with the recent development of IC memories, piezoelectric speakers, etc., it has become possible to make sound generators smaller and thinner, so it is possible to incorporate this sound generator into picture books. However, whenever a small-sized sound generating device is incorporated into a picture book, it remains a challenge to decide how to turn on the switch and generate the sound, and where to incorporate it.

This invention was made in view of the above problems,
The purpose of this book is to create a picture book with sounds that will increase the interest of young children and allow them to activate the sound generator themselves, thereby doubling the interest of the picture book and dramatically improving the learning effect of young children. is to provide.

In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention incorporates a sound generating device consisting of an IC memory storing music, etc., a piezoelectric speaker, a battery, and a magnetic sensing switch inside a cover of a predetermined thickness, and also incorporates a sound generating device in the form of a concrete object such as an animal. The gist is that the small piece is provided with a magnetic material for functioning the magnetic sensing switch, and that the small piece is removably housed in a case formed as a part of the cover.

Further, a horizontally long rectangular window 7 is formed at the bottom of the cover 2, and the front side of the window 7 is covered with a cover 8 made of transparent plastic or the like, and the back side of the window 7 is covered with the backing paper 6. . Therefore, a flat case 9 consisting of the cover 8 and the backing paper 6 is formed below the cover 2. This case 9 houses small pieces 10 imitating concrete objects such as dogs and cats. The small piece 10 is made of, for example, urethane resin covered with a skin material such as a vinyl sheet, and contains a magnetic material such as a ferrite magnet inside.

On the other hand, a recess 11 is formed in the center of the back surface of the cover 2, as shown in FIG. , a battery 14, and a sound generating device 16 consisting of a magnetic sensing switch are housed therein, and in this state, the recess 11 is closed with the backing paper 6 so that it cannot be seen from the outside.

First, an infant or the like opens the case 9 formed at the bottom of the cover 2, takes out a desired small piece 10, and then places this small piece 10 on the recess 11 in which the sound generating device 16 is housed. In this case, naturally, the first page is in an open state.

If the page is turned over while placed on the piezoelectric speaker 13, music etc. will be emitted continuously from the piezoelectric speaker 13 without stopping. Moreover, if the small piece 10 is removed from the top of the sound generating device 16, the music etc. will stop.

It should be noted that the above is only one embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the above. For example, by incorporating an LSI into the sound generator 16, the small piece 10
Once the small piece 10 approaches the magnetic sensing switch 15 and the circuit is closed, the circuit remains closed and continues to play music even if the small piece 10 is removed, and when the small piece 10 approaches again, the circuit is opened. You can also do this. Further, in this embodiment, the case 9 is provided at the bottom of the cover 2, but the case 9 can be provided at any location, and the form of the small piece 10 stored in the case 9 is also arbitrary.

In addition, in the embodiment, all of the large number of small pieces 10... incorporate magnetic material, but only one or a predetermined number of small pieces among the large number of small pieces 10... incorporate magnetic material. You can do it like this. If you do this, the switch will not turn on except for specific small pieces, making it more interesting.

As explained above, according to the present invention, a sound generator is built into the cover of a picture book, and a small piece stored in a case formed on a part of the cover is taken out and brought close to the sound generator. Since music and the like are emitted from the screen, infants can learn the picture book not only visually but also audibly, and the synergistic effect can be expected to produce significant learning effects. Moreover, since the picture books are not just for looking at, they will not get boring and will be more interesting, so the children will come into contact with the picture books repeatedly and can expect a learning effect through repetition. Furthermore, because the sound generating device is hidden from the eyes of young children due to the presence of the backing paper, the appearance of the book as a picture book is not impaired, and moreover, it creates a sense of wonder in young children and keeps them interested.
