[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention relates to a high pressure hose assembly.
In particular, the strands of the reinforcing layer of the hose body are wound alternately in opposite directions, and the ends of the strands are folded alternately from the outer and inner sides of a pair of bead rings to create a bead. A bead presser fitting that presses the bead portion from the outer circumferential side is attached to the hose main body, and an external device is attached to the bead presser fitting of the hose main body via a separate bead support fitting that supports the bead portion from the inner circumferential side. By having a connecting structure, the pressure resistance strength can be increased without increasing the cross-sectional shape of the connecting portion of the hose body.

Conventionally, high-pressure hose assemblies have a spiral structure in which the reinforcing layer wires of the hose body intersect in opposite directions, with connecting fittings attached to both ends. Since high-pressure hose assemblies with large diameters have problems with pressure resistance at the connection between the hose body and the connecting fittings, the inventor first developed a method to achieve sufficient pressure resistance without increasing the number of parts of the connecting fittings. A patent application was filed for the resulting high-pressure hose assembly. This high-pressure hose assembly is made by wrapping the reinforcing layer's strands at both ends alternately from the outer and inner sides of a pair of bead rings for each layer, and folding them back.
This bead portion is fitted into a bead receiving portion of a ring-shaped connecting fitting, so that the connecting fitting is assembled integrally with the hose body (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-6483).

[Problem to be solved by the invention] In the high-pressure hose assembly of the above application, when a tensile force is generated in the reinforcing wire due to the internal pressure of the hose body, the bead ring is tightened and the bead receiving part of the connecting fitting is tightened. Because it is crimped, the bead part does not slip out of the connection fitting, and unless the reinforcing wire breaks, there will be no separation between the hose body and the connection fitting, so it has a simple structure and high pressure resistance. It's summery.

However, in this high-pressure hose assembly, the withstand pressure that prevents the hose body from slipping out of the connection fitting is due to the rigidity of the bead ring around which the reinforcing wire is wound, so in order to increase the pressure resistance, In this case, a bead ring with a large cross-sectional area must be used to increase the rigidity, which increases the outside diameter and/or thickness of the fitting, which increases the stiffness of the hose body. There still remains a problem to be solved in terms of miniaturizing the structure of the connecting part with the connecting fitting.

The bead of the hose body is tightened from the outer and inner sides by the bead holding fitting and bead supporting fitting, and the bead supporting fitting shares the pressure resistance of the bead, so the rigidity of the bead ring can be reduced. Also, the pressure resistance strength at the connection part of the hose body is increased.

In particular, the bead support fitting 26 is attached to the hose body 1.
The bead support part 29 shares the withstand pressure of the bead ring 18 when subjected to an internal pressure of 0, and transmits this withstand stress to the bolt of the bolt hole 28, its outer edge, etc., and disperses it in multiple directions. Therefore, there is no need to increase the rigidity of the bead ring 19 even if the internal pressure is increased. Therefore, a large withstand pressure can be obtained with a relatively small rigid bead ring without increasing the outer diameter and wall thickness of the bead presser metal fitting 22 and the bead support metal fitting 26.

Note that the high-pressure fluid in the hose body 10 is transferred between the hose body 10 and the bead support fitting because the bead support portion 25 of the bead support fitting 22 is crimped to the seal portion 20 on the inner peripheral side of the bead portion 19 with a wide contact area. 26, and since the bead support fitting 26 is connected to an external connection device via another gasket, high pressure fluid will not leak from between the bead support fitting 26 and the external connection device. It won't leak.

In order to further enhance the sealing function between the seal portion 20 of the hose body 10 and the bead support fitting 26, the seal portion 20 of the hose body 10 is
It is preferable to cover the bead portion 19 with a thicker layer of rubber from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side so as to protrude outward in the axial direction from the end surface of the bead holding fitting 22. In this case, Hose body 10
When the bead support metal fitting 26 is attached to the bead support metal fitting 26, a gap 30 is formed between the bead holding metal fitting 22 and the bead support metal fitting 26, so that the tightening force when bolting the bead holding metal fitting 22 and the bead support metal fitting 26 is reduced. As a result, the bead support part 29 of the bead support fitting 26 can be strongly pressed against the seal part 20 of the hose main body 10.

As explained above, according to this invention, the bead presser fitting that presses the bead part of the hose body from the outer circumferential side is assembled integrally with the hose body, and the bead part is held by the bead support fitting separate from the hose body. The structure is such that the bead is supported from the inner circumferential side and the bead presser is connected to an external device via the bead support to sandwich the bead, so the bead support can be easily fixed without increasing the cross-sectional area of the bead ring. The stress sharing increases the pressure resistance, and a high-pressure hose assembly with high pressure resistance can be obtained without increasing the cross-sectional shape of the connecting portion of the hose body.
