【考案の詳細な説明】 〈産業上の利用分野〉 本考案は推進式ヒユーム管の連結部に使用され
る円筒状のカラーに係り、特に繊維強化プラスチ
ツク(以下FRPと言う)製の推進式ヒユーム管
カラーに関するものである。

〈従来の技術〉 従来、推進式ヒユーム管用カラーとしては鋼製
タール塗装のカラーが使われてきたが、土壌中及
び排水中の酸、アルカリ、有機物などにより、カ
ラーが腐蝕劣化することが問題となつており、そ
の対策の一つとして最近FRP製カラーが開発さ
れ使用されるようになつて来た。このFRPは不
飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂、エ
ポキシ樹脂などを、ガラス繊維などの繊維補強材
によつて強化した複合材料であり、機械的強度と
耐蝕性に優れているため、地中で耐久性を必要と
するヒユーム管カラーの材料として好適である。

しかしながら、ヒユーム管推進時にカラーの周
側端部は地盤中の砂礫などと接触や摩擦或いは砂
礫などの食い込み等により、局所的な集中荷重を
受け、或いは推進に伴う管路の曲がりやその修正
の際に生じる周方向の荷重を受けて、この周側端
部にひび割れから大規模な割れが発生し、その結
果、カラーによるヒユーム管連結部の止水効果が
失われる場合が生じる等の欠点があつた。

〈作用〉 本考案に於いては上述の如く、FRP製カラー
の周側端部に金属製リングを嵌め込むか或いはそ
の内部に埋め込んで構成したので、この周側端部
を著しく強化することが出来、これによつて地盤
中の砂礫等に接触して、砂礫等がこの周側端部に
食い込まれて損傷したり、或いは推進時に管路の
曲げやそりの際に生ずる周方向の荷重を受けて
も、周側端部にひび割れ等の破損が発生すること
を防止することが出来る。

ング2が嵌め込まれて構成されている。

険性はなく、更にリング5の腐蝕の進行も抑圧す
ることが出来る。

〈考案の効果〉 本考案に係るカラーは上述の如き構造と作用と

触したり、或いは推進時の荷重等によつてひび割
れしたりして破損する恐れがなく、更にカラーの
周側端部は金属製リングによつて著しく強化され
ると共に長年の使用によつてこのリングが腐蝕さ
れてもカラーはそのままの状態を維持出来るの
で、カラーの止水性能には全く影響がない等の多
大な特徴を有するものである。
