手軽に使用できると共に、不燃性又は難燃性の性

た貫通孔をもつハニカム形状の展張パネルが作ら
れる。そして、この展張パネルがケイ酸ソーダの
溶液にどぶづけされ、パネル表面にケイ酸ソーダ
を含有した状態で、展張パネルは、熱乾燥炉に入
れられて熱硬化処理され、所定の耐水性、圧縮強
さ、せん断強さ、及び不燃性を備えたペーパコア
2が作られる。水酸化アルミニウムを主材にして
抄造された不燃紙は、材料の粒子が細かく強度に
欠けるが、ケイ酸ソーダ含浸後の熱硬化処理によ

解する際に発生する水蒸気により、紙のパルプ成
分の燃焼が抑えられ、延焼を最小限に抑えること

化アルミニウムを主材として抄造された原紙によ
り作られたハニカム状の展張パネルを、ケイ酸ソ
ーダの溶液に漬けた後熱硬化処理して形成される
ため、熱硬化されたケイ酸ソーダにより芯材とし
ての充分な強度を持ち、火災に対しては、難燃性
の水酸化アルミニウム紙の外周を不燃性のケイ酸
ソーダで包囲するようにして、非常に燃えにくい
襖用芯材とすることができる。また、通常の襖と
同様に、軽量で且つ安価に製造することができ
