[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an improvement of a dental medical drill, and in addition to the original cutting function, it is provided with a filler transport function.

To treat cavities with advanced symptoms, the affected area is scraped,
After extracting the pulp and shaving the dentin to expose the cavity, the pulp cavity is closed to prevent bacteria and harmful substances from penetrating into the alveolar region, and then filling or crowning is performed depending on the symptoms. It is.

There are various types of occluding materials such as resin, abatite, etc. to block off the pulp cavity at this time, but cuttings generated when the dentin is scraped first are also often used. It is preferable from the standpoint of compatibility with the living body, and if the occlusion is performed in the narrow part at the base of the pulp cavity, the amount of occluding material can be extremely small.

By the way, this method works well for teeth in the lower jaw, but it is difficult to use effectively for upper teeth because the scraped dentin powder spills out. Even if you receive it at the bottom and repack it, delicate operations are required and the work is difficult.

The present invention solves the difficulty of this work by making the drill a special structure. As illustrated in Fig. 1, the screw groove 3 is cut as it rotates in a normal cutting drill. The cut is made in the direction in which the powder is discharged towards the base of the drill, whereas it is cut in the direction in which the powder is transported towards the tip. The cutting blade 4 is not provided on the head 1, but only on the part excluding the head, and the depth of the groove is also different from that of a cutting blade so that even a small amount of chips can be effectively transported. It's shallow.

In the actual work, after removing the lesion and pulp as shown in Fig. 2, the inner wall of the hollowed pulp cavity 12 is scraped with the body 2, and the chips generated at that time are removed from the drill and the inner wall of the cavity. By bringing the drill closer to the inner wall of the cavity, the portion 13 that remains after adhering to the pulp is driven toward the distal end by the driving function of the spiral groove that accompanies rotation, and is packed deep into the pulp cavity. . In order to perform the stuffing work effectively, the tip end 5 of the head 1 is rounded and has no screw groove.

The above example shows an example in which a cutting edge is attached to the threaded groove of the body, but the body may be filled with tiny pieces of diamond instead of the threaded groove (however, in this case, the body may cut into dentin. After cutting the part, move the drill back and

As described above, the present invention makes it possible to effectively pack dentin chips into the pulp cavity with a simple operation using a drill, even in the treatment of upper teeth, and is an extremely effective means for improving dental techniques. It provides:
