Until now, as shown in Figure 3, cultivated land below rivers, lakes, rice paddies, etc., fields and parks below cliffs, etc. have been contaminated with water that seeps into the ground from rivers, lakes, and rice fields above, and underground seeps from cliffs. This resulted in excessive moisture, causing problems such as over-wetting damage to crops and making grounds and parks unusable.

The water-shielding film 5 is made of a board or sheet made of soft synthetic resin or rubber that has excellent corrosion resistance and weather resistance, and its upper end extends above the water-permeable layer 4 to cover the slope of the earth embankment structure C. c 1 Fix to the lower surface with the fixing device 4a, and the lower end covers the upper surface of the C side half of the earthwork structure 3, leaving the cultivated land B side half as an uncovered part, and excavate after backfilling. Seepage water that permeates from the soil is introduced into the drain pipe 1 through the covering 3.

If the construction is carried out as described above, the water-shielding membrane 5 will prevent underground seepage water that has permeated into the earthwork structure C from rivers, lakes, etc. and seeped into the slope c 1 from penetrating into the cultivated land B. The permeated water can be reliably guided to the drain pipe 1 through the permeable layer 4, thereby enhancing the water-blocking effect and drainage effect.

As described above, the present invention provides a drainage pipe at the bottom of a drainage ditch excavated at the bottom of the slope of an earth embankment structure, covers the drainage pipe with a water-permeable coating, and removes the soil in the drainage ditch. A permeable layer is laid across the entire side wall of the embankment structure, and the permeable layer is covered with an impermeable membrane, and drainage ditches are backfilled. This prevents underground water seeping into the earthwork structure from rivers, lakes, etc. While blocking water from seeping into the ground of cultivated land, grounds, parks, etc. with a water-blocking membrane,
The underground seepage water that has seeped onto the slope of the earth embankment structure can be guided to the drain pipe through the permeable layer, and the above-mentioned blocking effect and drainage effect on the underground seeping water can be enhanced. Since the drainage ditches were backfilled with excavated soil, it was possible to secure a sufficient cultivated area and improve the yield rate, and it was possible to secure the same wide area in fields and parks as before construction. At the same time, it is possible to provide a safe and useful underground water seepage blocking device that does not impede exercise.

依つて所期の目的を達成し得る。 Thus, the intended purpose can be achieved.
