Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity by sticking a transfer mark to a body to be coated together with ground paper, winding a mask around the body so that the mask overlaps the ground paper, coating the exposed part and removing the mask. CONSTITUTION:Ground paper 11 is stuck to a prescribed position of a pipe A with an adhesive layer 14 and a mask 18 is wound around one terminal zone B of the pipe A adjacent to the paper 11 so that the mask 18 overlaps the paper 11. The exposed part of the pipe A as the other terminal zone C is coated with paint 19, this paint 19 is dried and a mask 20 is wound around the dried paint 19 and the paper 11. The mask 18 is then removed, the exposed zone B is coated with paint 21 and this paint 21 is stabilized by drying and baking. The mask 20 is removed and the paper 11 is stripped from a mark layer 13. Coating stages can be simplified and production cost can be reduced.

Figures 8 to 11 show the combination of transfer marks and painting.
This shows the conventional painting method when painting a pipe that has been coated with an intermediate coating.First, as shown in Figure 8, one end of the outer circumferential surface of the pipe is pasted at the position where the transfer mark is pasted. Apply top coat to zone B.

Next, as shown in Fig. 9, a pressure-sensitive heat-sensitive transfer mark 2 is pasted on the pipe at a predetermined position, and after peeling off the mount 3, the entire surface is overcoated with clear lacquer, acrylic, melamine, urethane, epoxy, etc. The transfer mark 2 is stabilized by applying, baking, etc.

Next, as shown in FIG. 10, masking 4 is performed on the stabilized transfer mark 2 using tape, paper, or the like. At this time, the masking 4 must be applied accurately to match the shape of the end facing the zone C on the other end side of the transfer mark 2, which requires skilled technique and time.

Top coat 5 of another color is applied to zone C on the other end side where masking 4 has been applied as described above, and after drying and stabilization, masking 4 is removed and overcoat is applied to the entire area. As a result, as shown in Fig. 11, a pipe coated with three colors can be obtained using the transfer mark 2 and the coating station 5. [Problem to be solved by the invention] By the way, the conventional coating method as described above In this method, multiple layers of paint must be applied, and the edges of the masking must be precisely finished to match the shape of the transfer mark, resulting in extremely poor work efficiency and low productivity, resulting in the same process being repeated over and over again. As a result, the defect rate increases, and the multilayer coating gives the finished product a heavy and unsightly appearance.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has been developed by pasting a masking mount with a transfer mark on the surface and an adhesive layer on the transfer mark to the object to be painted with the adhesive layer, and then attaching the adhesive layer to the object to be painted. Masking is applied to a part so as to overlap with the mount, the masking is removed after painting the exposed part of the object to be painted, and the mount is then moved 211 distance from the transfer mark.

Attach a transfer mark mount to a predetermined position on the object to be painted with an adhesive layer, apply masking to a part of the object to be painted so as to wrap it with the mount, and when the exposed part of the object is painted, the mount will be transferred. Masking of the mark will be used in conjunction with this, and if the masking is then removed and the mount is then peeled off from the transfer mark, multicolor painting can be done by combining the transfer mark and painting.

FIGS. 1 and 2 show a masking type mount with a transfer mark provided on one side, in which a pretreatment layer 12, a mark layer 13, and an adhesive layer 14 are sequentially laminated on the surface of the mount 11. An extension part 15 protruding from the marking layer 13 is provided at the end of the mount 11, and an adhesive layer 16 is provided on the surface of the extension part 15 for positioning or temporary fixing to prevent peeling.
Adhesive layers 14 and 16 are formed on the surface of the extension part 150 from the mount 11.

The pre-treatment layer 12 adheres the mark layer 13 on the surface release treatment layer of the mount 11, and since it will remain on the surface of the mark layer 13 after the mount 11 is peeled off, the pre-treatment layer 12 takes advantage of changes over time. This serves to protect the mark layer 13, and furthermore, when a coating is applied thereon, the crosslinking reaction is used to firmly harden and fix the mark layer 13. For example, A transparent or translucent ink or paint containing heat-resistant acrylic resin or the like as a main component is used to provide the mark layer 13 on the entire surface of the mount 11 or partially in the same pattern as the mark layer 13. Note that this pretreatment layer 12 may not be applied.

The mark layer 13 is formed using ink or paint whose main component is an acrylic resin or the like that has heat resistance, weather resistance, and solvent resistance, and can be formed by various printing methods such as planography, screen, convex, intaglio, and gravure, or by spraying. Patterns, designs, letters, etc. can be created by painting etc.
It is applied in the desired color and pattern.

The drawing shows an example of applying multi-colored paint to a pipe.
First, as shown in FIG. 3, a mount 11 is pasted on a predetermined position of the pipe A with an adhesive layer 14, and then a part of the masking 18 is applied to a zone B on one end side of the pipe A with the mount 11 as a boundary. Apply the coating so as to overlap the mount 11, and apply the coating station 9 to the zone C on the other exposed end of the pipe A, as shown in FIG.
When applying the coating station S, the mount 11 serves as a mask for the mark layer 13, and when the coating station 9 is dried and stabilized during baking, the mark layer 13 is also stabilized.

Next, the masking 18 is removed, and as shown in FIG.
Masking 2 from the dry coating station 9 to the mount 11
After coating 21 is applied to the exposed zone B on one end side, the coating 21 is baked and stabilized by drying, and after the mark layer 13 is stabilized, the mount 11 is applied as shown in FIG. By peeling off the mark layer 13 at the treated layer 12,
As shown in FIG. 7, three-color coating can be applied using the transferred mark layer 13 and the coating stations 9 and 21 on both sides, and if necessary, clear roughing, acrylic, etc. can be applied to the entire outer surface.
An overcoat of melamine, urethane, epoxy, etc. may be applied and baked.

オーバーコートを施すとより一層の一体感が得られる。Adding an overcoat creates a more unified look.

In the case shown in the figure, the mark layer 13 is transferred so as to be wound around the entire length of the outer periphery of the pipe A, but for example, the mark layer is pasted with a mount along the axial direction of the pipe A, and the mark layer is pasted along the axial direction of the pipe A, and the mark layer is pasted along the axial direction of the pipe A. Alternatively, the outer peripheral surface of the pipe may be painted in a different color. Further, the adhesive layer 16 may be used not only for positioning as shown in the figure, but also for preventing peeling of the end portion of the mount 11 wound around the pipe A.

Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to painting pipes as in the illustrated embodiment, but can also be applied to flat surfaces.

As described above, according to the present invention, a transfer mark is affixed to the object to be painted together with a mount, masking is applied to the object to be painted so as to wrap it with the mount, and after painting the exposed portion of the object, the masking is applied. Since the mount is removed and peeled off from the transfer mark, the mount can be used as is as a mask for the transfer mark in multi-color painting using transfer marks, and productivity can be dramatically improved by reducing the number of painting steps. This makes it possible to reduce production costs.
