Abstract

PURPOSE:To save time and to eliminate the waste of an object to be marked by superposing the image taken by a camera and the character to be actually marked and generating the image marking the character to the object to be marked. CONSTITUTION:The camera 1 photographs the object 2 to be subjected to laser marking on a laser marker stage 3 and transmits the image signal thereof to an image processor 5. The signal for setting the laser marking character and the character position is transmitted from a laser marker CPU 6 to the image processor 5 and is processed by the image processor 5, by which the image photographed by the camera 1 and the laser marking character are made into the superposed image. The image is transmitted to a monitor 4 and the image of the same state as the state when the marking is actually made, i.e., the state in which the size and position of the character with respect to the object to be marked are at the same ratios as the ratio of the actual marking is projected on the monitor 4.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a laser marker, and particularly to a laser marker that allows the marking position of characters to be confirmed visually in advance.

Conventionally, when setting the position of a character, this type of laser marker would actually mark the mark, confirm the current marking position, and then make relative corrections to determine the correct marking position. .

The conventional laser marker described above actually marks the object to be marked, confirms the position of the marked character, and corrects the current position to determine the correct marking position. For this reason, the position of the character to be marked cannot be known until the character is actually marked, which is disadvantageous in that it wastes time and the object to be marked.

In contrast to the conventional laser marker described above, the present invention allows the position of the character to be marked on the object to be marked to be visually confirmed and adjusted in advance without actually marking the object to be marked. The difference is that it can be done.

The laser marker of the present invention uses a camera to take a picture of the object to be marked, and an image that overlaps the image captured by this camera with the actual characters to be marked, thereby marking the actual object to be marked with the characters. It has an image processing device that creates an image, and a monitor that displays the image.

FIG. 1 is a system diagram of one embodiment of the present invention. A camera 1 photographs an object 2 to be laser marked on a laser marker stage 3 and transmits the image signal to an image processing device 5. The laser marking characters and the signal for setting the position of the characters are sent from the laser marker CPU 6 to the image processing device 5, and the image processing device 5 processes the signals, and the image taken by the camera 1 and the laser marking characters become an overlapping image. , the image is sent to monitor 4,
An image is displayed on the monitor 4 in the same state as when the marking was actually made, that is, in a state in which the size and position of the characters are in the same proportion as when the marking was actually made with respect to the object to be marked.

In this embodiment, a length measurement system is provided using the laser marker CPU 6 and the image processing device 5. This is done by attaching a mouse 7 to the laser marker CPU 6, and using the mouse 7,
The number of moving pixels of the marking character on the monitor 4 is taken into the laser marker CPU 6 via the image processing device 5, and the moving distance is calculated. This embodiment has the advantage that the position of the marking characters can be easily set because the moving distance of the marking characters can be confirmed accurately and easily.

As explained above, in the present invention, by projecting the object to be marked and the characters to be marked in one image, the position of the characters to be marked can be set without actually marking the characters. This has the effect of eliminating waste in terms of the surface and the object to be marked.
