Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify channel selection by sequentially channel-selecting broadcasting stations which coincide with the names of the broadcasting stations to be inputted. CONSTITUTION:In a travelling vehicle, a lead 14 is operated according to need, and a part of or all the names of the broadcasting stations are inputted. A control circuit 13 judges whether the name of the broadcasting station which coincides with the name of the broadcasting station till inputted characters in present or not in memories 16 and 17 by the operation of the channel-selection start lead provided in a part of the lead 14. When the name of the coincident broadcasting station is present, the frequency-dividing number corresponding to the broadcasting station is outputted. When the frequency-dividing number is inputted to a programmable frequency divider 8, and it is tuned to the broadcasting station, a tuned signal is outputted from a detection circuit 5, and the tuned broadcasting station is received.

[Embodiment of the Invention] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. The figure shows the case of a digital synthesizer tuner, where 1 is an antenna, 2 is an RF amplifier, 3 is a mixer, 4 is an IF amplifier,
5 is a detection circuit, 6 is ■Co as a local oscillator, 7 is a prescaler that converts the output of said ■co to 174, 8 is a programmable frequency divider, 9 is a low-pass filter, 1o is a phase comparator, II is a frequency divider, Reference numeral 12 designates a reference crystal oscillator, and the above is a known circuit configuration.

That is, when attempting to receive an FM broadcast of 80 MHz, the VCO 6 must oscillate (80-10.7 MHz). Therefore, if the frequency division number input to the programmable frequency divider 8 is set to N = 693 (usually a variable frequency divider is used) and the frequency division number of the prescaler 7 is set to 4, then the input to the phase comparator 1o is , and one input of the phase comparator 10 sets the oscillation frequency of the reference crystal oscillator 12 to 10
If the frequency is 0 KHz and the frequency division number of the frequency divider 11 is 4, a frequency component of is applied, and since a PLL including the VCO 6 is configured, the frequency f of the VCO 6 is controlled to be 69.3 MHz. It turns out. in this way,
When varying the reception frequency, change the division number of the programmable frequency divider 8 (for the FM band, N = 654 to 79).
2) The reception frequency corresponding to the frequency division number is determined.

Reference numeral 13 designates a control circuit that performs operations to be described later, in which the output signal from the above-mentioned detection circuit 5 and the signal from the operation button 14 are input manually, and the signal to the display 15 and the above-mentioned programmable frequency divider 8 are inputted manually. The frequency division number is output. The operation buttons 14 described above are manually operated, for example, by inputting the name of a broadcasting station directly using alphabet keys, or inputting alphabets by sequentially operating up/down buttons.
Further, the display 15 can display characters input using the operation button 14, for example, the name of a broadcasting station such as NHK.

Next, when the channel selection start button provided as part of the operation 6014 is operated (step S2), the control circuit 13 stores in the memory 16.17 the broadcasting station name that matches the broadcasting station name up to the input characters. Step S3)
If there is a matching broadcast station name, the frequency division number corresponding to that broadcast station is output. This output frequency division number is manually inputted to the programmable frequency divider 8, so when it is tuned to that broadcasting station by the operation explained in FIG. 1, a tuned signal is output from the detection circuit 5. A state is entered in which the broadcast station that has been received is received (step S4).

Furthermore, the control circuit 13 searches the memories 16 and 17 to see if there is another broadcasting station with the same name as the inputted broadcasting station name (step S5), and if there is no broadcasting station with the same name, the selected broadcasting station is The operation ends with the received state of the broadcast station being broadcast being maintained. On the other hand, if there are other same broadcasting stations, please keep the reception status of the currently tuned broadcasting station for a few seconds in step 3.
6) In this state, the control circuit 13 searches whether or not the channel selection switch 711 provided as a part of the operation button 14 has been pressed (step S7). If the button is pressed within the above-mentioned time, the operation ends with the broadcast of the currently received broadcast station being received. On the other hand, if the tuning stop button is not pressed within the time period, the process returns to step S4 and starts tuning another broadcasting station that partially matches.

In addition, the broadcasting station name of some of the characters you entered is stored in memory 16.1.
7, if the input radio waves are weak, synchronization cannot be achieved, so after searching for this broadcasting station, immediately return to step S4 and search for the next broadcasting station that partially matches. You can also set it to start.

Furthermore, even if there is a broadcast station that matches all the characters you entered, if the input radio waves are weak, you will not be able to tune in. Therefore, the display 15 will indicate that there is a corresponding broadcast station but you cannot tune in. It is also possible to display the information.

As described above, the present invention allows you to store the broadcast station name in memory even if you do not know the frequency of the broadcast station or the preset name of the broadcast station by manually inputting part or all of the station name by operating the operation button. If some or all of the station names match, you can easily select a station. Therefore, in cases where the frequency of the broadcast station changes, such as on a car stereo, This has the effect of making it very easy to select a channel even if you only know part of it.
