Conventionally, this type of furniture has been called by various names depending on its purpose, such as a cupboard or an article storage cabinet, and has a form suitable for each purpose, but basically, it has a bottom plate, It consists of side panels, a top panel, a back panel, and a door provided as necessary, and the adjacent ends of these multiple panels, excluding the door, are connected by screws or other connectors, dowels, adhesives, etc. It has been joined together.

When such conventional furniture is hit by a foreign object or accidentally dropped during transportation,
In addition to frequent chipping of edges and hangnails, assembly work was sometimes complicated due to errors in the thickness of the plates to be joined. In addition, in conventional furniture, the ends of one plate are joined by simply butting the ends of the other plate against each other, so there is a problem that the furniture is easily deformed.

The present invention solves the above problems, has a ridge that does not cause damage and increases the bonding strength between the plates, and easily overcomes dimensional errors in the thickness of the plates used to facilitate assembly. Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a new piece of furniture that is less susceptible to deformation after assembly.

1 and 2 show an embodiment of the furniture according to the present invention, and FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the furniture having a box-shaped storage space with the front door removed;
Figure 2 is a cross section of the upper left ridge, i.e. -
FIG. In the figure, 1 indicates a plurality of plates, namely a bottom plate 19, left and right side plates 20 and 20', and a top plate 2.
1, and furniture 22, 22' and 23, 2 in which a box-shaped storage space S is formed by joining the adjacent ends of back plates (not shown).
3' are left and right upper and lower ridges, respectively, and these ridges are made of synthetic resin. More specifically, the board material is, for example, a natural wood veneer, plywood, particle board, etc., or a material coated with paint on the surface thereof, and the edges between adjacent ends are as shown in FIG. It is joined. That is, on the inside of the upper end 20a of the left side plate 20, there is a notch having an L-shaped cross section, consisting of a vertical cut 20b that is perpendicular to the thickness L1 direction and smaller than the thickness of the top plate 21, and a horizontal cut 20c that is perpendicular to this. 20d is formed, and the left end 21a of the top plate 21 is fitted into this notch 20d, and a rectangular depression 25 is defined between the upper surface 20e of the end 20a and the side surface 21c of the end 21a. It's becoming like that. Further, a groove 20f having a semicircular cross section is formed in the horizontal cut 20c of the side plate 20, extending in the front-rear direction (direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in FIG. 2) excluding the front and rear ends of the plate material,
On the other hand, the lower corner of the left end portion 21a of the top plate 21 is cut out in a quarter-circular cross section in the front-rear direction to match the groove 20f, thereby forming a groove 21b. 20g is the upper end surface 2 of the end 20a of the side plate 20.
0e, and the grooves 20f and 21b
In order to lead to the synthetic space 30 formed by
This is a groove formed in the side plate 20 for resin inflow.
Reference numeral 22 denotes a ridge portion made of a synthetic resin that is integrally bonded by impregnating and injecting the surface of the recess 25, and is formed, for example, as follows. That is, a resin injection frame (not shown) that forms a space corresponding to the shape of the ridge 22 is attached to the recess 25, and a resin injection frame (not shown) is attached to the hollow 25, for example, at the middle part of the frame in the front-rear direction (as shown in FIG. 1). Liquid thermosetting resin (e.g. polyester resin, epoxy resin,
Polyurethane resin, etc.) or thermoplastic resin is injected under pressure to impregnate the side plate 20 and the top plate 21, respectively.
a, the depression 25 is injected and filled, and after the resin has hardened, the frame is removed, and the ridge 22 is aligned with the side plate 20.
and is formed completely integrated with the top plate 21. The reason why the resin injection hole is provided in the center of the frame is to quickly spread the synthetic resin liquid in the front and back direction of the depression 25. Also,
32 is a synthetic resin filled in the synthetic space 30, and is connected to the ridge 22 and the synthetic resin filled in the groove 20g. The synthetic resin 32 and the synthetic resin in the groove 20g are in contact with the depression 25 and the synthesis space 30 via the groove 20g, so the synthetic resin liquid is injected under pressure as described above. 22 can be formed simultaneously. 3
2a is a portion where the side plate 20 and the top plate 21 are impregnated with synthetic resin within the groove 20g and within the synthetic space 30.

In this way, in the furniture, the ridge portion 22,
Since 22', 23, and 23' are made of synthetic resin, they have extremely high strength and excellent impact resistance compared to a conventional case in which the edge portion itself constitutes the edge portion of the plate material. Moreover, the ridges 22, 22', 23, 2
3' is impregnated and bonded to the side plate 20 and the top plate 21, so it will not peel off even if an impact is applied. Furthermore, since both the plate materials 20 and 21 are impregnated 22a with the synthetic resin constituting the ridge 22, the assembly strength of the furniture is also extremely high. Furthermore,
Even if there is an error in the thickness L1 of the side plate 20, if the vertical cut 20b of the side plate 20 is formed from the outer surface of the side plate 20 to a specified dimension L2, the width L3 of the top plate 21 can be accurately determined. By cutting, the width L4 in the left and right direction of the furniture can be accurately obtained, and compared to the conventional method of simply butting and joining the ends of the side plate and the top plate, the side plate 20 of this embodiment is Notch 2
By fitting the end portion 21a of the top plate 21 to 0d, the connection between the two becomes stable and the furniture becomes difficult to deform. Furthermore, according to this embodiment, there is an advantage that the side plate 20 and the top plate 21 can be joined extremely easily by simply injecting the synthetic resin into the space from the depression 25 through the groove 20g to the synthetic space 30. Moreover, the degree of bonding between the plate materials is much higher than when dowels, adhesives, etc. are used, and there is an advantage that the joints do not become distorted.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, an example is shown in which ridges made of synthetic resin are provided on the left, right, top, and bottom of the furniture. For example, it is also possible to provide only one location. Furthermore, the shape of the outer surface of the ridge, especially the shape of the corner, is not limited to that shown in the above embodiments.

Furthermore, although not shown in the drawings, as another embodiment of the present invention, water resistance treatment is applied to a portion other than the ridge forming portion of the plate material having the configuration shown in the above embodiment;
For example, by pasting melamine decorative board,
Alternatively, by using board materials that have undergone such treatment from the beginning, it is possible to provide not only strength but also complete waterproofness to the ridges of the furniture, which prevents moisture from entering from the ridges. It is possible to completely prevent the edges of the board from swelling, causing the furniture to become distorted or deteriorating its appearance. Such embodiments are particularly suitable for kitchen furniture, which is often exposed to water, humidity, and the like.

As described above, according to the present invention, furniture in which a box-shaped space is formed by joining a plurality of board materials has a ridge portion that is less likely to be damaged during handling, and a space between the board materials. Since the bonding strength is high, it is possible to provide furniture that is difficult to deform after assembly and is easy to assemble.
