Abstract

PURPOSE:To manifest a stereoscopic composite pattern by applying a stamping foil with its transfer film surface masked with a releasable heat-infusible composition in an arbitrary pattern on a fabric into which a patterned cut foil with a heat fusible transparent layer of a specified thickness has been woven. CONSTITUTION:A patterned cut foil with a surface-heat-fusible transparent layer 4 >=10mu in thickness on its patterned surface is woven into a fabric 1 to manifest a pattern 20 on said fabric 1. Thence, said pattern is laminated with the transfer film side surface of a stamping foil 6 provided with a masking 7 of arbitrary pattern by coating the upper surface of a transfer film with a releasable heat-infusible composition (e.g., silicone), followed by pressing and heating to transfer the transfer film of a part other than said masking part on the upper surface 4 to form a composite pattern. According to this process, stereoscopic composite patterns with profound feel can be manifested depending on the thickness of the transparent layer 4.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] Industrial Field of Application The present invention relates to a method for producing a composite pattern on a textile, in particular, by slitting a patterned cut foil, that is, a cut foil original fabric showing a pictorial pattern or any other arbitrary pattern, into narrow widths. The present invention relates to a method for creating a composite pattern on a textile fabric by partially combining the transferred pattern by thermal transfer of a stamping foil onto the pattern created on the textile fabric by weaving cut foil obtained by the process.

A method of creating patterns on textiles by weaving patterned cut foil (hereinafter,
As is well known to those skilled in the art, the pattern (known as the Kirihaku method) is essentially a two-dimensional decorative pattern on the surface of the fabric, but it is delicate and elegant, and is similar to that of high-quality Nishijin-ori obi. This is one of the best methods for adding patterns.

On the other hand, the method of expressing a pattern by heat-pressure transfer of stamping foil (hereinafter referred to as the stamping foil method) allows for economical stocking of small lots of stamping foils of various types with various transfer film patterns, and as stamping foils, If a partially masked inert composition is applied to the heat-adhesive surface of the object to be transferred on the upper surface of the transfer film, stamping foils of different types in the masking pattern can be used. This makes it possible to produce smaller lots and a wider variety of patterns.

Therefore, patterns can be imparted to textiles by combining the cutting foil method and the stamping method in order to achieve decorative properties that go beyond the additive sum of the decorative properties and usefulness of the individual foil cutting methods and stamping methods. It would be convenient if possible.

Incidentally, conventionally, the foil cutting method and the stamping method have only been applied individually in practical industry. and,
Even if we simply put together these conventional methods, the patterns of the cutting foil method and the patterns of the stamping method would simply be combined.
The resulting composite pattern is far from being more than the additive sum of the decorative and useful properties of both methods.

This is a method of creating a composite pattern on a textile by partially combining the transferred pattern with the pattern created on the textile by weaving patterned cut foil into the textile by heat-pressure transfer of a stamping foil. A stamping foil with a thickness of 10 microns or more and a transparent layer with heat-bonding ability is applied to the surface, and a heat-infusible composition with release ability is coated on the top surface of the transfer film as a stamping foil. A method of creating a composite pattern on a textile fabric, characterized by applying pattern masking.

Function In the present invention, the patterned cut foil has a transparent layer having heat-sealing ability on its surface on the patterned side. Therefore, when the pattern that appears on the fabric by weaving the patterned cut foil is partially combined with the transferred pattern by heat-pressure transfer of the stamping foil, the composite pattern is created by the transferred pattern and the pattern of the cut foil sandwiching the transparent layer. It is a combination of upper and lower parts. That is, the composite pattern of the transfer pattern and the cut foil pattern has a perspective and sunken appearance in which the cut foil pattern overlaps the transfer pattern, which is the surface pattern, in the presence of a transparent layer. In this case, it is necessary that the thickness of the transparent layer is 10 microns or more, and if it is thin, the composite aspect of the transferred pattern and the cut foil pattern will not have a sunken appearance with a sense of perspective.

The above-mentioned stamping foil is one in which the upper surface of the transfer film is coated with a heat-infusible composition having mold releasability to mask an arbitrary pattern. The composition for forming this masking is a composition that can be applied in liquid form to the surface of the transfer film of the stamping foil using an engraving roll or the like in a wide variety of designs, and can be applied in delicate designs. Masking by coating the composition can make it appear as a predetermined pattern even if the resulting pattern is a delicate pattern, and can also be made to have a variety of patterns. Therefore, even if the transfer pattern applied by the stamping foil is a delicate pattern, it can be expressed as a pattern that follows the masking pattern in a good manner, and as a pattern that is rich in variety. .

This two-dimensional decorative characteristic is exhibited in a form that matches the above-mentioned composite pattern that has a sense of perspective and a sunken appearance. Therefore, the composite pattern of the cut foil pattern and the transferred pattern according to the present invention can be expressed as a decorative pattern that is much superior to the composite pattern obtained by simply combining the conventional foil cutting method and stamping method.

Effects of the Invention Thus, according to the present invention, by using the cutting foil method and the stamping method in combination, it is possible to express a composite pattern using the foil cutting method and the stamping method, which exceeds the additive sum of their individual decorative properties and usefulness. This provides a method for creating complex patterns on textiles.

The stamping foil (6) [Fig. 2] is coated with a heat-infusible composition having mold release ability, such as a silicone or tetrafluoroethylene resin mold release agent, and a thermosetting resin with silicone on the upper surface of the transfer film. Alternatively, masking of any pattern is performed by applying a mixture of tetrafluoroethylene resin (with or without addition) in a liquid phase using an appropriate means such as an engraving roll.
