り、また、電話により検索条件を伝えるので、言い間違
いや聞き間違いや細かいニュアンスの違いにより所望の
イメージデータが送信されないというトラブルが多かっ

メージデータを検索するのに何度もイメージデータを送
信しなければならず効率が悪かった。そのため、回線と

ピュータに接続された端末制御装置がファクシミリによ
り前記端末へ自動的に送信する方式であって、前記端末
から送信された検索条件により前記光ディスクのイメー
ジデータな検索する手段と、この検索手段により検索さ
れたイメージデータを前記ファクシミリにより送信する
命令が前記端末から送信された場合に、当該イメージデ
ータの前記光ディスク内の格納場所の番号及び前記端末
の番号を前記端末制御装置へ送出する手段とを前記ホス
トコンピュータに備え、前記ホストコンピュータの送出
手段により送出された前記イメージデータの光ディスク
内の格納場所の番号に基づいて該当するイメージデータ
を前記光ディスクから取出す手段と、この取出手段によ
り取出したイメージデータを前記ホストコンピュータの
送出手段により送出された前記端末の番号へ前記ファク
シミリにより自動的に送信する手段とを前記端末制御装

、手間と時間を削減し、タイムリーに必要なイメージデ

イメージデータを検索し、検索条件に合つたイメージデ
ータを前記ホストコンピュータに接続された端末制御装
置がファクシミリにより前記端末へ自動的に送信する方
式であって、前記端末から送信された検索条件により前
記光ディスクのイメージデータを検索する手段と、この
検索手段により検索されたイメージデータを前記ファク
シミリにより送信する命令が前記端末から送信された場
合に、当該イメージデータの前記光ディスク内の格納場
所の番号及び前記端末の番号を前記端末制御装置へ送出
する手段とを前記ホストコンピュータに備え、 前記ホストコンピュータの送出手段により送出された前
記イメージデータの光ディスク内の格納場所の番号に基
づいて該当するイメージデータを前記光ディスクから取
出す手段と、この取出手段により取出したイメージデー
タを前記ホストコンピュータの送出手段により送出され
た前記端末の番号へ前記ファクシミリにより自動的に送
信する手段とを前記端末制御装置に備えていることを特
