Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep off any abnormal temperature rise in parts in a air- conditioning controller box with certainty by operating a cooling fan feeding cooling air into the air-conditioning controller box or a railway vehicle with a battery power source, and controlling the drive in accordance with the detected value of temperature in the air-conditioning controller box. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan 13, doing air blasting for cooling the inner part of an air-conditioning controller box 1 controlling an air conditioner 2, is made so as to be driven with a battery1 2 of its power source, and this battery 12 is made free of charging by a battery charger 11. There is provided with a thermostat 14 which detects temperature inside the air-condition controller box 1, and the detected signal is outputted to a temperature controller 15. Then, the cooling fan 13 is controlled so as to be operated when a detection temperature of the thermostat 14 has exceeded the specified value. In addition, during operation of an inverter 7, the cooling fan 3 is driven as in the past, making it cool the inside of the air-conditioning controller box 1.
