Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of components and to realize a small size by a method wherein a capacitor is formed inside a toroidal core formed by winding two or more metal foils with a dielectric layer between each of them and a coil is formed on an outer periphery of the toroidal core. CONSTITUTION:Three magnetic metal foils 5-7 composed of an amorphous metal or the like are wound to be a ring shape via dielectric layers 8-10 whose permittivity is high and which is composed of an insulator wider than the magnetic metal foils and a toroidal core 11 is formed. Lead wires 12-14 are extracted from the three magnetic metal foils 5-7, the magnetic metal foil 6 in an intermediate position is used as an earth layer and the extracted lead wire 3 is used as an earth terminal. Then, a copper wire 15 is wound on the toroidal core 11 in a toroidal shape of one pair in directions where magnetic fluxes due to a reciprocating current are offset, one pair of winding terminals 16, 17 in an identical direction are connected to terminals 12, 14 from the magnetic metal foils. By this setup, the number of constituent components is reduced and a wiring and assembly operation can be simplified.

BACKGROUND ART A circuit diagram of a conventional general noise filter is shown in FIG. 1 is a common mode choke coil in which a pair of windings are applied to a core made of a ferrite core or an amorphous metal so that the magnetic flux caused by the reciprocating current is canceled;
.. 3 is a common mode noise reduction capacitor connected between the line and the ground, and 4 is a normal mode noise reduction capacitor connected between the lines. Conventional noise filters have these components mounted on a printed circuit board.
Alternatively, the filter circuit was configured by directly connecting the lead wires of each component. Problems to be Solved by the Invention The conventional configuration described above has many components, and the wiring 1 assembly process is also complicated. It becomes significantly disadvantageous in terms of cost and becomes larger. Furthermore, the lead wires and copper foil portions of the printed circuit boards required to connect the various capacitors 2 to 4 are long, and the inductance component in series with the capacitors increases, reducing the noise prevention effect in the high frequency range.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the present invention forms a toroidal core by winding a plurality of magnetic metal foils in a ring shape with a dielectric layer interposed between them, and connects lead wires from each metal foil. A lead-out capacitor is formed, a coil is formed by applying a toroidal winding to the toroidal core, and these are connected to form a noise filter.

- Effect As described above, by forming a toroidal core by winding a plurality of magnetic metal foils with dielectric layers interposed between them, the magnetic metal foils become electrodes, and a capacitor element can be formed between the magnetic metal foils. Furthermore, a coil element can be formed by applying toroidal winding to the toroidal core. This reduces the number of components of the noise filter, and also makes it easy to assemble the wiring 9 because the lead wires can be pulled out from the magnetic metal foil inside the toroidal core and necessary connections such as coil leads and ground terminals can be made in the shortest possible distance. Therefore, the inductance component introduced in series with the capacitor due to the lead wire can be reduced, and the noise prevention effect in the high frequency range can be improved. For the above reasons, the noise filter can be made smaller, lower in cost, and higher in performance.

FIGS. 1 and 2 are developed and structural diagrams of a noise filter in an embodiment of the present invention. Three magnetic metal foils 5, 6.7 made of amorphous metal etc. are interposed through dielectric layers 8, 9.10 made of an insulator such as polyester or polypropylene which has a high dielectric constant and is wider than the magnetic metal foil. It is wound into a ring shape to form a toroidal core 11. Lead wires 12, 13, and 14 are drawn out from the three magnetic metal foils 6 to 7, and the magnetic metal foil 6 located in the middle is used as a ground layer, and the drawn out lead wire 13 is used as a ground terminal. Next, as shown in FIG. 2, copper wires 16 are wound around the toroidal core 11 in a pair of toroidal shapes in a direction in which the magnetic flux due to the reciprocating current cancels out, and a pair of winding terminals 16 and 17 in the same direction are connected to each other. A noise filter is constructed by connecting terminals 12 and 14 made of metal foil.

In addition, if the conductivity of the magnetic metal foils 6 to 7 is poor, plating the surfaces of the magnetic metal foils 6 to 7 with a good conductor metal can reduce the impedance between lines and between lines and ground, and improve noise attenuation characteristics. It can be improved.
