Description
本発明は、電気絶縁性の著しく改善されたポリ
塩化ビニル樹脂組成物、詳しくは、ポリ塩化ビニ
ル樹脂に対して可塑剤、鉛系安定剤、有機酸金属
塩化合物、炭酸カルシウム及び/又はクレー、及
び有機リン酸金属塩化合物を添加して成る電気絶
縁性の改善された電線用ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂組成
物に関するものである。
一般にポリ塩化ビニル樹脂は優れた電気絶縁性
を有する。しかしながら、該樹脂は加熱成形加工
を行なう際に主として脱塩化水素に起因する熱分
解を起し易く、このために加工製品の電気絶縁性
の低下、機械的性質の劣化、色調の悪化を生じ、
著しい不利益を招く。
従来、かかる不利益をさけるために1種または
数種の熱安定剤を該樹脂に添加し、この加工工程
における熱劣化を抑制していた。この目的の為に
鉛化合物等の安定剤が使用されてきた。
しかしながら、業界を満足させるに十分な性能
を有するに致らず、特に電気絶縁性の向上、加工
性の向上が望まれていた。
本発明者等は、上記現状に鑑み、長年鋭意研究
を重ねた結果、電気絶縁性の著しく向上したポリ
塩化ビニル樹脂を開発することに成功したもので
ある。
即ち、本発明は、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂100重量
部に対して、(1)可塑剤10〜100重量部、(2)鉛系安
定剤0.01〜10重量部、(3)有機酸金属塩化合物0.01
〜10重量部、(4)炭酸カルシウム10〜40重量部及
び/又はクレー5〜20重量部及び(5)特定の有機リ
ン酸金属塩化合物0.01〜20重量部を添加して成
る、電気絶縁性の改善されたポリ塩化ビニル樹脂
組成物を提供するものである。
以下に本発明のポリ塩化ビニル樹脂組成物につ
いて詳説する。
本発明組成物に使用される可塑剤としては、フ
タル酸エステル系あるいはその他のエステル系、
ポリエステル系、リン酸エステル系、エポキシ
系、塩素系などがあげられる。
フタル酸エステル系可塑剤としては、例えばジ
メチルフタレート、ジエチルフタレート、ジプロ
ピルフタレート、ジブチルフタレート、ジイソブ
チルフタレート、ジヘプチルフタレート、ジヘキ
シルフタレート、ジメチルイソブチルカルビニル
フタレート、ジオクチルフタレート、ジ−2−エ
チルヘキシルフタレート、ジ−イソオクチルフタ
レート、ジノニルフタレート、ジイソノニルフタ
レート、ジデシルフタレート、ジアリルフタレー
ト、ジイソデシルフタレート、ジトリデシルフタ
レート、ジラウリルフタレート、ジカプリルフタ
レート、ジシクロヘキシルフタレート、ジフエニ
ルフタレート、ジベンジルフタレート、ジ(混合
アルコール)フタレート、ジメチルグリコールフ
タレート、ジブトキシエチルフタレート、ブチル
ラウリルフタレート、ブチルベンジルフタレー
ト、オクチルカプリルフタレート、ブチルオクチ
ルフタレート、ブチルイソデシルフタレート、オ
クチルデシルフタレート、ブチルココナツトアル
キルフタレート、イソオクチルデシルフタレー
ト、ブチルシクロヘキシルフタレート、ブチルフ
タリルグリコレート、エチルフタリルエチルグリ

その他のエステル系可塑剤としては、例えばジ
−n−ヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペー
ト、ジオクチルアジペート、ジ−2−エチルヘキ
シルアジペート、ジイソデシルアジペート、ジカ
プリルアジペート、ジブチルセバケート、ジオク
チルセバケート、ジ−2−エチルヘキシルセバケ
ート、ジオクチルアゼレート、ジ−2−エチルヘ
キシルアゼレート、ブチルオレエート、ジオクチ
ルマレート、ジブチルフマレート、メチルアセチ
ルリシノレート、トリエチレングリコール−ジ−
2−エチルヘキソエート、トリ−2−エチルヘキ
シルトリメリテート、トリ−n−オクチルトリメ
リテート、トリデシルトリメリテート、トリエチ
ルシトレート、アセチルトリエチルシトレート、
トリブチルシトレート、アセチルトリブチルシト
レート、アセチルトリ−2−エチルヘキシルシト
レート、トリブチルトリメリテート、ジブチルベ

リン酸エステル系可塑剤としては、例えばトリ
オクチルホスフエート、ジフエニルモノオキソキ
セニルホスフエート、トリ(α−クロルエチル)
ホスフエート、トリ(α−ブロモエチル)ホスフ
エート、トリ(α−ジクロロプロピル)ホスフエ
ート、トリ(α−ジブロモプロピル)ホスフエー
ト、トリエチルホスフエート、トリブチルホスフ
エート、トリ(α−エチルヘキシル)ホスフエー
ト、トリブトキシエチルホスフエート、トリフエ
ニルホスフエート、クレジルジフエニルホスフエ
ート、トリクレジルホスフエート、トリジメチル
フエニルホスフエート、o,o,o−トリエチル
ホスホロチオエート、o,o,o−トリブチルホ
スホロチオエート、o,o,o−トリイソオクチ
ルホスホロチオエート、トリス(o−クロロエチ
ル)ホスフエート、ジフエニルオクチルホスフエ
ート、ジフエニルキシレニルホスフエート又はト
リ(t−ブチルフエニル)ホスフエート等があ
る。
エポキシ系可塑剤としては、例えばブチルエポ
キシステアレート、オクチルエポキシステアレー
ト、オクチルエポキシベンゾエート、ブチルエポ
キシオレエート、2−エチルヘキシルエポキシ化
トール油脂肪酸エステル、エポキシ化大豆油、エ
ポキシ化アマニ油、エポキシ化綿実油、エポキシ
化サフラワー油、ヘキシルエポキシステアレー
ト、ベンジルエポキシステアレート、シクロヘキ
シルエポキシステアレート、メトキシエポキシス
テアレート、フエニルエポキシステアレート、第
3ブチルエポキシステアレート、オクチルエポキ
シサクシネート、エポキシ化テトラヒドロフタレ
ート、エポキシ化シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸エ
ステル、エポキシ化ヘキサヒドロフタル酸ジオク
チル又はモノ(エポキシステアリル)、ジアセチ
ルグリセライド等がある。
塩素系可塑剤としては、塩素化パラフイン、塩
素化ステアリン酸メチル、塩素化ジフエニル、塩
素化ベンジルラウレート又は塩素化ジフエニルベ
ンゼン等がある。
上記可塑剤の好ましい添加量は、ポリ塩化ビニ
ル樹脂100重量部に対し、10〜100重量部である。
本発明に用いられる鉛系安定剤としては、例え
ば鉛白、塩基性ケイ酸鉛、三塩基性硫酸鉛、二塩
基性亜リン酸鉛、シリカゲル共沈ケイ酸鉛、塩基
性ケイ硫酸鉛、塩基性炭酸鉛等の無機酸塩、ステ
アリン酸、二塩基性ステアリン酸鉛、三塩基性マ
レイン酸鉛、フタル酸鉛、二塩基性フタル酸鉛、
三塩基性フタル酸鉛、オクチル酸鉛、塩基性オク
チル酸鉛、ラノリン酸鉛等の有機酸塩がある。
上記鉛系安定剤の好ましい添加量は、ポリ塩化
ビニル樹脂100重量部に対し、0.01〜10重量部で
ある。
本発明に用いられる有機酸金属塩化合物はカル
ボン酸又はフエノールの金属塩であり、該金属塩
の金属としてはLi、Na、K等の族金属、Mg、
Ca、Sr、Ba、Zn、Cd等の族金属、Sn、Zr、
Sb、Bi及び有機Snを挙げることができる。
カルボン酸の例としては、酢酸、プロピオン
酸、酪酸、吉草酸、カプロン酸、エナント酸、カ
プリル酸、ネオデカン酸、2−エチルヘキシル
酸、ペラルゴン酸、カプリン酸、ウンデカン酸、
ラウリン酸、トリデカン酸、ミリスチン酸、パル
ミチン酸、イソステアリン酸、スチアリン酸、12
−ヒドロキシステアリン酸、ベヘン酸、モンタン
酸、安息香酸、モノクロル安息香酸、P−tert−
ブチル安息香酸、ジメチルヒドロキシ安息香酸、
3,5−ジtert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシ安息香
酸、トルイル酸、ジメチル安息香酸、エチル安息
香酸、クミン酸、n−プロピル安息香酸、アミノ
安息香酸、N,N−ジメチルアミノ安息香酸、ア
セトキシ安息香酸、サリチル酸、P−tert−オク
チルサリチル酸、オレイン酸、エライジン酸、リ
ノール酸、リノレン酸、チオグリコール酸、メル
カプトプロピオン酸、オクチルメルカプトプロピ
オン酸などの一価カルボン酸、シユウ酸、マロン
酸、コハク酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、ピメリ
ン酸、スベリン酸、アゼライン酸、セバチン酸、
フタル酸、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、オキシ
フタル酸、クロルフタル酸、アミノフタル酸、マ
レイン酸、フマール酸、シトラコン酸、メタコン
酸、イタコン酸、アコニツト酸、チオジプロピオ
ン酸などの二価カルボン酸のモノエステル又はモ
ノアマイド化合物、ヘミメリツト酸、トリメリツ
ト酸、メロフアン酸、ピロメリツト酸、などの三
価又は四価カルボン酸のジ又はトリエステル化合
物があげられる。
またフエノール類としては、例えばtert−ブチ
ルフエノール、ノニルフエノール、ジノニルフエ
ノール、シクロヘキシルフエノール、フエニルフ
エノール、オクチルフエノール、フエノール、ク
レゾール、キシレノール、n−ブチルフエノー
ル、イソアミルフエノール、エチルフエノール、
イソプロピルフエノール、イソオクチルフエノー
ル、2−エチルヘキシルフエノール、tert−ノニ
ルフエノール、デシルフエノール、tert−オクチ
ルフエノール、イソヘキシルフエノール、オクタ
デシルフエノール、ジイソブチルフエノール、メ
チルプロピルフエノール、ジアミルフエノール、
メチルイソヘキシルフエノール、メチル−t−オ
クチルフエノールなどがあげられる。
上記有機酸金属塩化合物の好ましい添加量は、
ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂100重量部に対し、0.01〜10
重量部である。
本発明に用いられる炭酸カルシウムとしては、
重質炭酸カルシウム、軟質炭酸カルシウム、沈降
製炭酸カルシウム、軽微性炭酸カルシウム、極微
細沈降製炭酸カルシウム、コロイド性炭酸カルシ
ウムまたは活性化炭酸カルシウムあるいはこれら
を樹脂、金属石鹸、有機酸、界面活性剤などの有
機物質で被覆したものを使用することができる。
上記炭酸カルシウムの好ましい添加量は、ポリ

本発明の組成物に更に有機ホスフアイト化合物
及び/またはエポキシ化合物を併用することによ
り熱安定性を増大させ得るので使用目的に応じて
適宜使用できる。
本発明の組成物に酸化防止剤を添加することは
該組成物の酸化劣化防止性を増大させ得るので、
使用目的に応じて適宜使用できる。これら酸化防
止剤には、フエノール系酸化防止剤、含硫黄化合
物などが含まれる。
本発明の組成物に紫外線吸収剤を添加するなら
ば、光安定性を向上させ得るので、使用目的に応
じて適宜これらを選択して使用することが可能で
ある。これらにはベンゾフエノン系、ベンゾトリ
アゾール系、サリシレート系、置換アクリロニト
リル系、各種の金属塩又は金属キレート、特にニ
ツケル又はクロムの塩又はキレート類、トリアジ
ン系、ピペリジン系などが包含される。
その他必要に応じて、例えば架橋剤、顔料、発

本発明によるポリ塩化ビニル樹脂組成物の優れ
た熱安定性をみるために、次の配合により、混練
ロールで厚さ1mmのシートを作成し、200℃にお
ける熱劣化試験及び180℃における初期着色性試
