Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of settling of solid matters in a vessel, to prevent choking of a pipeline, to make thus discharging operation of a liquid mixture contg. solid matters more smooth by repeating alternately circulation stage and discharging stage by disposing a three way valve, etc., to a bottom of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A liquid mixture 1 contg. solid matters is withdrawn from a bottom of a vessel 2 by driving a pump 4, and the withdrawn liquid mixture 1 is circulated through a circulation passage from a withdrawing pipe 3 to a return pipe 6 when a herb medicine extract, is transported from its extraction stage to a solid/liquid separation stage. Thus, solid matters in the liquid mixture 1 prevented from settling and suspended in the liquid. In this state, a passage of the liquid mixture 1 is changed to a discharging passage directing from the withdrawing pipe 3 toward a discharging pipe 7 by changing over a three way valve 5. After continuing the discharge for a fixed time, the three way valve 5 is switched again and the liquid mixture 1 is circulated through an original circulating passage. Thereafter, the liquid mixture 1 is discharged by changing over the three way valve 5 alternately at a same time interval until the whole of the liquid mixture 1 is discharged.

(Conventional technology) The production of traditional Chinese medicine mainly consists of an extraction process to obtain an extract by decocting the raw herbal medicine in boiling water, a solid-liquid separation process to separate the extract into solid-liquid, and a concentration of the solid-liquid separated liquid components. do 4
It consists of a compression step and a drying step in which the concentrated liquid is dried in a dryer to form a powder.

Here, in order to transfer the extract from the extraction process to the solid-liquid separation process, the extraction tank and the solid-liquid separation device are connected by piping, but the extract is a solid substance that is a residue. Because it contains a large amount of (herbal medicine), piping was clogged and transportation was difficult.

Furthermore, when a discharge port is provided at the bottom of the extraction tank, the extraction residue settles and coagulates, clogging the discharge port, so that it is necessary to remove it manually. Therefore, an attempt was made to provide a discharge port on the side wall, but in this case, the extract remained in the lower part of the tank and could not be discharged, reducing the yield.

There are two types of herbal medicines: those that settle and those that float.
Even if attempts were made to uniformly expand sales, these components would be concentrated in different areas, making it difficult to maintain constant uniform mixing using stirring blades.

Therefore, measures such as gradually increasing the inner diameter of the piping from the extraction tank toward the solid-liquid separator and creating an incline for forced discharge with a pump, or selecting the piping diameter and throttle valve according to the transfer flow rate are taken. was taken.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] In such an extraction tank, there are restrictions on the shape of the bottom, so
Solid matter remained in the extraction tank and only the liquid phase was discharged. In order to remove such solids, cleaning the inside of the extraction tank has become extremely complicated, reducing productivity.

[Function] According to the present invention, since the circulation process and the discharge process are repeated alternately, the solid mixture is sufficiently stirred in the circulation process,
A portion of the solids is discharged in a sufficiently suspended state, and the circulation and discharge are repeated again, so the solids do not settle in the container, and the solids that have been given kinetic energy by circulation are discharged. Therefore, no clogging of pipes occurs.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, a take-out pipe 3 is connected to the bottom of the container 2 containing the solid mixed liquid 1, and a pump 4 is provided to this take-out pipe 3 to extract the solid mixed liquid 1 from the bottom of the container 2. do it like this.

Next, the method of discharging the solid mixture fi, 1 in this embodiment will be explained. The pump 4 is driven to draw out the solid mixture 1 from the bottom of the container 2, and the solid mixture 1 is extracted from the take-out pipe 3 through the return pipe 6.
The solid mixture 1 is circulated through a circulation path (indicated by arrow A). This prevents the solids in the solid mixture 1 from settling and suspends them in the liquid. In this state, the three-way valve 5 is switched to change the discharge path (indicated by arrow B) from the take-out pipe 3 to the discharge pipe 7 to discharge the solid mixed liquid 1. After discharging for a certain period of time, the three-way valve 5 is switched again to circulate the solid mixture 1 in the original circulation path,
Thereafter, the three-way valve 5 is alternately switched at the same timing to discharge all of the solid mixture l.

The timing of circulation and discharge is determined by taking into account the sedimentation rate of the solid mixture 1, the processing capacity of the solid mixture 1 in the subsequent process (solid-liquid separation process, etc.), and for example, the timing of circulation and discharge is determined in accordance with the time ratio:
Make sure that the discharge ratio is about 1:1 to 3.

In this way, the solids mixture 1 is discharged with the solids sufficiently suspended in the liquid and prevented from settling through circulation, so that no clogging of solids occurs in the discharge pipe 7.
Also, depending on the timing of circulation and discharge, solids can be mixed*
It is also possible to adjust the flow rate transferred to the subsequent process.

Note that if the discharge nozzle 6a of the return pipe 6 is provided at the bottom of the power container 2 and its discharge direction is along the tangential direction of the circular container 2, the solid mixture 1 discharged from the discharge nozzle 6a will cause the container 2 to Since the solid matter mixture e1 inside generates a vortex, there is an advantage that the solid matter can be easily discharged.
