本発明は飼料用防かび剤に関する。従来、防かび剤とし
てのプロピオン酸及びその塩類の有用性は広く知られて
いる。しかしながらかかる防かび剤を飼料に使用する場
合には飼料の安全性の確保及び品質の改善に関する法律
によってプロピオン酸として0.3%以下に使用量が制
限されている。プロピオン酸またはその塩類の防かび効
果は飼料の組成や形態、保存方法によっては不充分であ
り、0.3%のプロピオン酸濃度ではかびの発生を抑え
られず、飼料の品質の低下を招いたりあるいは飼料を廃
棄せざるを得なくなるなど産業的に大きな損失を招いて
