Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of water drops, dust, etc. by equipping a drafty member with a continuous porous sheet, a drafty reinforcing sheet affixed to the side face of this sheet, and waterproof part in the form of soft cylinder only in the peripheries of the two sheets. CONSTITUTION:A drafty member 13 is composed of a continuous porous sheet 14, a drafty reinforcing sheet 15, which is in the form of a disc having the same dia. as the sheet 14 and is affixed to the side face thereof, and a waterproof member 16 in the form of soft cylinder made by insert formation so that only the peripheries of the two sheets 14, 15 are embedded. The member thus formed 13 is pressure fitted into a wall 12 in cylindrical form with the sheet 15 facing outward and the surrounding of a vent hole 11 in the bottom of the wall 12 and a member 16 outside the inner wall of the wall 12 are in pressure contact. Thereby in this lighting fixture 1 for car concerned the inner part of a light chamber 4 and the outer air are in communication through the mentioned member 13 blocking the vent hole 11 to bring about the same pressure to the inner part of the light chamber 4 and the outer air, which prevents the inspiraiting action, and the characteristic of the member 13 prevents intrusion of water drops and dust into the light chamber 4.

(Prior Art) In general, a vehicle lamp has a lens disposed on the front surface of a housing, and a lamp pulp attached to a socket is disposed in a lamp chamber defined by the housing and the lens. In order to prevent water from entering the lamp chamber, the housing and lens are completely sealed using a sealant such as hot melt, and hot plate welding is used to improve the air concavity of the lamp chamber. . However, as the airtightness of the lamp chamber is improved, when the lamp bulb is turned on, the internal pressure of the lamp chamber rises rapidly due to heat generation, and when the lamp is turned off, the internal pressure decreases. This repeated turning on and off causes a so-called breathing effect due to changes in internal pressure; for example, moisture from outside the lamp is transmitted through the cord core wire of the socket, absorbed into the lamp chamber, and this moisture condenses into dew in the low-temperature parts. As a result, cloudiness occurs on the inner surface of the lens or the reflective surface of the reflector. The higher the airtightness of the lamp chamber, the more difficult it is for the moisture that has entered the lamp chamber to be discharged onto the road outside the lamp chamber, and thus will not be removed. A similar phenomenon occurs even in pseudo lamps without a light source, such as reflex reflectors and finishers, due to the difference in outside temperature between day and night.

For this reason, in order to keep the internal pressure of the lamp chamber constant, eliminate the breathing effect, and prevent moisture from entering, conventional vehicle lamps have housings molded from thermoplastic resin, as shown in Figure 12. A and lens b are fixed together by hot plate welding, a socket eke with cord r and the attached lamp bulb C are placed in lamp chamber d, and ventilation holes Q are drilled in the upper and lower positions of the rear of housing a. There is a lamp with a structure in which a curved cylindrical rubber grommet h that communicates with the ventilation hole q is attached.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in such a conventional lamp structure, for example, in a lamp such as a front combination lamp or a side marker lamp of a car, high-pressure water is directly applied to the back of the lamp during car washing. Even if the grommet h is curved, there is a problem that water will enter the light chamber through the opening as shown by the arrow. Also, since the grommet h protrudes from the back of the housing a, the car body panel (not shown) ), which is not only inconvenient but also causes problems such as the grommet h being easily dislodged.Furthermore, in the conventional type, the inner diameter of the vent hole q and grommet h is set small, so there is no sufficient breathing effect. However, in the conventional case, if the inner diameter of the vent hole q and grommet h is increased, air convection can be improved and the breathing effect can be reduced. When the inner diameter is set large, it becomes easy for dust and the like to enter the lamp chamber regardless of the breathing effect, and there is also the problem that the intruded dust and dirt contaminates the inner surface of the lens and the flutter, deteriorating the light distribution performance.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to address the above-mentioned circumstances, and it prevents dust from entering through the ventilation holes, but also significantly reduces the breathing action inside the lamp chamber to prevent moisture from entering the lamp chamber. It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicular lamp capable of preventing fogging of a spear flap and maintaining good light distribution performance.

Furthermore, since the continuous porous sheet 14 is reinforced with a reinforcing sheet 15 having some degree of rigidity on its side, when the breathable member 13 is press-fitted into the wall portion 12, the outer diameter of the breathable member 13 is Even when it contracts, the continuous porous sheet 14 bends together with the reinforcing sheet 15, so that the fine air holes in the continuous porous sheet 14 are not crushed and clogged. Furthermore, by oriented the reinforcing sheet 15 outward, solvents and the like do not directly come into contact with the continuous porous sheet 14, so that the continuous porous sheet 14 is not altered in quality or its vent holes are not expanded or crushed.

This socket 59 is a cylindrical body made of synthetic resin.
As shown in the figure, the upper portion thereof includes a protrusion 60 projecting outward, and a flange portion 61 spaced apart from the protrusion 60,
The protrusion 60 and the flange 61 are fixed to the socket mounting hole 57 by airtightly sandwiching the periphery of the socket mounting hole 57 of the housing 53 via an elastic packing 62. In addition, one side of the socket 59 has a through hole 63 that serves as a ventilation hole that communicates the inside and outside of the lamp chamber 56 on the right cylindrical side!
1!64 is integrally formed with a bulge. Further, a stepped portion 65 is provided around the front portion of the through hole 63 so as to protrude inward. Inside this side wall 64, a breathable member 66 having a structure similar to that of each of the embodiments described above is fixed in a watertight manner by being pressed against the step portion 65 and the inner wall surface.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the vehicle lamp according to the present invention has a ventilation hole for communicating an airtight interior space with outside air, and a wall portion surrounding the ventilation hole to improve ventilation and ( a Since it is sealed water-tightly with a water-based breathable material, the internal space and the outside are at the same pressure, preventing the breathing effect caused by the difference in air pressure, and allowing the desired light distribution characteristics to be maintained for a long time. The material is inserted into a continuous porous sheet that is water repellent and breathable, a breathable reinforcing sheet attached to the side surface of this continuous porous sheet, and both sheets are buried so that only the outer periphery of the sheet is buried. It consists of a molded soft cylindrical waterproof member, which is press-fitted into the wall so as to close the ventilation holes, so there is no risk of water droplets or dust entering the internal space.Furthermore, the continuous porous sheet is Since the side surfaces are reinforced with a reinforcing sheet, the shape is maintained and the vent holes are not crushed during press-fitting.
