Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the title machine so designed that the face of each carrying plate set on a belt is made upright and said plate is bent in a specific shape to afford a receiving plate, and the upper end of every seed yam is turned toward its advancing direction and arranged at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION:Each seed yam 26 is laterally loaded on the changing-travelling part B of a belt with its upper end side oriented toward a receiving plate 24a side provided on a carrying plate 24, and lowered in the descending part A of the belt in a laterally loaded state on the carrying plate. The lower end of a cover 36 is located at the front of the lower part of a lower pulley 16 where the tilt angle of the carrying plate gradually becomes steeper downward, therefore, the seed yam cannot be supported in case there is no receiving plate, thus begins to drop from its lower part and drops on a guide plate 42. The seed yam drops on the bottom of a channel with its upper end turned upward in a front falling attitude.

However, if you cut off only the top part of the potato and use it as a seed potato for the following year, the sprouts will only grow from the top of the potato, so unless you plant the seed potato with the sprouting part at the top facing a certain direction, germination will be slow. The spacing becomes uneven. Therefore,
In the past, planting was done by hand, with the planting intervals being the same and the tops of the seed potatoes facing in a certain direction, without mechanization.

A chain 32 is suspended between a chain gear 28 attached to the axle 4 and a chain gear 30 attached to the rotating shaft 29 of the lower pulley 16. As the tow vehicle travels, the axle 8 rotates in the direction of arrow Q due to ground resistance, and the rotation of this wheel 8 is transmitted to the lower pulley 16 via the chain 32, thereby causing the belt on which many conveyor plates 24 are embedded. 22 starts running in the direction of arrow R and it's 0 species! 201 goods lulametsu 4
A side plate 34 that covers both sides of the belt 22 is provided at the lowering part A and the lowering part B of the belt 22, and a cover 36 covers almost the entire length of the lowering part A from the folded part of the front pulley 18. This cover 36, which is provided close to the conveyor plate 24 planted on the belt 22, prevents the seed potatoes 26 placed on the conveyor plate 24 from sliding forward at the descending portion A of the belt 22. The lower end of the lower pulley 16 is located in front of the lower end.

When the conveyor plate 24 passes through the lower end opening of the cover 36, the conveyor plate 24 changes its direction from the position where it touches the circumference of the lower pulley 16, and the plate surface of the conveyor plate 24 changes its angle downward. , conveyance plate 2
Extend only one end of the tip of 4 by the required width and the required length, bend the belt in the opposite direction to these pulleys, and attach the receiving plate 2.
4a, the receiving plate 24a still faces upward when passing through the opening at the lower end of the cover 36, and since the upper end side of the seed potato 26 is placed, the upper end side of the seed potato 26 is stopped. Since there is no receiving plate at the other end of the tip of the conveyor plate 24, the lower end of the seed potatoes 26 loses support when they pass through the opening at the lower end of the cover and falls downward.

Reference numeral 42 denotes a guide plate whose receiving surface side is formed in a concave shape below the opening at the lower end of the cover 36, and the guide plate 42 is inclined so that the lower end is located on the rear side with respect to the traveling direction than the upper end. Therefore, the fallen seed potatoes 26 are placed on the guide plate 42.
The seed potatoes 26 fall from the lower end side, but since the guide plate 42 is concave and the upper part slopes forward, the seed potatoes 26 fall to the ground with their upper end facing up and in a forward slanted position. As the seed potatoes 26 move forward, the upper portions of the seed potatoes 26 gradually sag forward, so that the upper ends of the seed potatoes 26 can be placed on the ground in the direction of travel, and this action is performed in a connected manner at regular intervals.

However, numeral 48 is a groove cutting plate, which is used to form grooves 50 in the soil surface for planting the seed potatoes 26, by inserting a mounting rod 52 provided at the front into a support 54 provided on the machine frame 2. The seed potatoes 26 are guided by the guide plate 42 to the bottom of the groove dug by the groove cutting plate 48, so that the seed potatoes 26 are placed at equal intervals in the groove bottom 50a with their upper ends facing the direction of travel. It was configured as follows.

When the wheels 8 move in the direction of arrow Q due to the running of the towing vehicle,
The rotation of the wheel 8 is transmitted to the lower pulley 16 via the chain gear 28, chain 32, and chain gear 30, and the belt 22 runs in the direction of arrow R. In the horizontal traveling part B of the belt 22, the upper end germination part of the seed potatoes 26 loaded in the seed box 60 is transferred to the conveyor plate 2.
One piece is placed horizontally on the belt 22 between the adjacent conveyor plates 24 so as to be placed on the side of the receiving plate 24a of No. 4.

However, as the belt 22 travels and passes the front pulley 18, the belt 22 begins to move downward, so the seed potatoes 26 are stopped on the upper surface of the conveyor plate 24 and move downward (Fig. 4).
When the belt 22 passes the lower pulley 16, its direction changes as it moves upward, and the conveyor plate 24 gradually turns downward, and the seed potatoes 26 move toward the tip of the conveyor plate 24, but the cover 36 approaches the tip of the conveyor plate 24. The lower end of the cover 36 is located near the lower part in front of the lower boob 916, and when the conveyor plate 24 passes the lower end of the cover 36, the seed potatoes are removed. 26 loses its support and falls. In this case, one end of the tip of the conveyor plate 24 is bent in the direction opposite to the running direction to form the receiving plate 24a. The plate surface is facing upward, and the seed potatoes 26 are placed on the belt 22.
When placing the seed potatoes 26 on the receiving plate 24a, the upper end side of the seed potatoes 26 is prevented from being placed on the receiving plate 24a.
Since there is nothing to stop the seed potato 26 on the other side of 4a, it falls from the bottom of the seed potato 26 (Figures 6 and 7), so the seed potato 26 falls vertically with the bottom facing downwards, but the guide plate 42 is below it. The seed potatoes 26 fall onto the guide plate 42. The guide plate 42 has a concave receiving surface and the upper part faces forward, so the seed potatoes 26 fall on the guide plate 42 with the lower part facing downward. The seed potato 26 slides down in the tilted position (Fig. 8), and the bottom end of the seed potato 26 is in the groove 5.
0, the seed potatoes 26 gradually sag in the direction of travel as the guide plate 42 advances (Fig. 9), and when the upper end of the seed potatoes 26 separates from the guide plate 42, the seed potatoes 26 fall to the bottom of the groove 50a. They are laid down with their upper ends facing the direction of travel (Figure 10), and are lined up at equal intervals.

Generally speaking, only the top part of the potato is cut off to use as the seed potato for the next year (Yamato potatoes are also grown using the same method), but in this case, the seeds germinate only from the top of the potato, so the direction of the seed potato must be adjusted. Although it is necessary to plant the seeds in a certain direction, in the present invention, the plate surface of the conveyor plate installed on the belt is set upright facing these pulleys, and the required position on one end side of the tip of the conveyor plate is If only the inside part is extended by the required dimension and placed horizontally with this extended part on the side of the girder receiving plate in the running direction, the seed potatoes will be placed horizontally on the conveyor plate at the lowering part of the belt and descend. is provided close to the conveyor plate, and the lower end of the cover is positioned in front of the lower part of the lower pulley, so that the downward inclination angle of the conveyor plate gradually becomes steeper downward at the lower pulley. Without one, the seed potatoes cannot be supported, so they start falling from the bottom of the seed potatoes, fall vertically, and then fall onto the guide board, which has a concave receiving surface and the top is forward. Because the seed potatoes are slanted so that the tops of the potatoes are facing upwards, they fall forward and fall to the bottom of the groove, so the tops of the potatoes all face in the direction of travel and are lined up at equal intervals. Planting can be done so that the germination intervals are almost evenly spaced. Therefore, Nagaimo and Yamatoimo can be grown at even intervals, making it possible to maintain uniform quality. Therefore, it is possible to mechanize the planting of Naga yam and Yamato yam, and in addition, the accuracy of the work is better than that of manual work, the work efficiency is significantly improved, and the workers are freed from heavy labor.
