Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the title product taking advantage of the feel and tough of lace cloth, made up of a lace cloth with see-thruogh pattern bonded on the surface of a substrate such as (non)woven fabric and a transparent polyurethane resin coated layer covering said surface. CONSTITUTION:A release paper is coated with a urethane-based adhesive 4, on which a substrate 1 such as (non)woven fabric or PVC leather is applied. Thence, the release paper is peeled off the resultant laminate, and a lace cloth 2 is laminated on the coating surface of said adhesive 4. A second release paper is coated with a urethane-based transparent adhesive 3, on which the lace cloth of said laminate is laminated. Thence, the resultant laminate thus produced is put to hot pressing using an embossing machine, thus obtaining the objective sheet-like product with leathery lace pattern. According to this process, coating of the lace cloth with a polyurethane resin coated layer enables said sheet-like product free from staining to be obtained taking advantage of the flexible touch and feel of the lace cloth.

Lace, especially handmade lace, is said to be the highest form of art that human beings can create.Originally, lace is a fabric with decorative patterns on a transparent background woven by twisting, knitting, or combining threads. Lace refers to a type of lace that usually has a pattern created by a combination of netting and shibori, but is also commonly referred to as lace, including embroidered lace, which is created by applying embroidery to fabric to create an openwork pattern.

The detailed see-through pattern of lace is excellent as a design, and various attempts have been made to utilize the detailed pattern of lace as a design for articles. A typical example is the method of printing or embossing the surface of synthetic leather to create a lace-like pattern. According to this method, a lace-like pattern can be displayed on the surface of various leather products such as bags, cases, and belts.

In FIG. 1, the sheet-like article with leather-like lace g of the present invention includes a base layer 1, a lace cloth 2 attached to the surface of the base layer 1, and a transparent coat layer 3 covering the surface. It consists of laminated layers. Specifically, an adhesive layer 4 is formed on the surface of the base layer 1, and the lace cloth 2 is adhered to this adhesive layer 4. The same transparent resin as the coat layer 3 can be used for the adhesive layer 4. The procedure for laminating the synthetic resin coat layer 3 on the base material layer 1 and processing it into a sheet-like product is substantially the same as the general synthetic leather manufacturing process. By selecting the material of the base layer 1, the conditions for the synthetic leather, such as flexibility, hardness, mechanical strength, etc., can be freely set.

The type of lace cloth 2 is not particularly limited, and includes 0 handmade lace, 9 machine lace (fabric lace, thread lace) as well as lace-like patterns made from knitted structures. However, the C and F (cover factors) are preferably 80 or less; if they exceed 80, there is a risk of delamination. A transparent two-component polyurethane resin paint is preferable for the adhesive that adheres the lace cloth 2 to the base material layer 1 and the coating layer 3 that covers the surface of the lace cloth 2. The two-component polyurethane resin paint has chemical resistance and resistance. Excellent abrasion and adhesion properties.

As described above, according to the present invention, the detailed patterns and uneven shapes of the lace cloth can be expressed on the surface, and since the lace cloth is covered with a polyurethane resin coating layer, it does not get dirty and can be formed into a predetermined shape with a soft feel. It is possible to obtain a synthetic leather-like sheet-like article that retains its shape and takes advantage of the texture and feel of lace cloth.
