PURPOSE: To provide a golf ball of making possible to reduce an aerodynamic resistance and make easy to cleaning by composing of that a globe shaped outer surface has a plurality of a dimples and the each dimple has the plane surface of a non-arc shape and the section of arc-shape. CONSTITUTION: A globe shaped outer surface has a plurality of dimples and the each dimple has the plane surface of a non-arc shape and the section of arc-shape. The dimple is preferable to be equally arranged on the surface of a golf ball. The rand distance between mutually adjacent dimples can keep constant and the shape of plane surface of the dimple can be a rectangular, triangular or polygonal shape. For example, the dimple 10 has an almost square surface and its length of one side is in range between 2mm and 5mm. The dimple 10 has the sectional shape of an almost arc-shape, its average depth is in range between 0.1mm and 0.3mm.
