Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform satisfactory joining at the low cost by burring an accessory fitting hole of a high damping steel plate oil pan and burning down a resin layer by TIG welding heat and subsequently, subjecting the title oil pan accessory to MIG or MAG welding. CONSTITUTION:The accessory fitting hole is burred on the high damping steel plate oil pan 1. A level gage pipe 2 is inserted into said fitting hole. The periphery of said level gage pipe 2 is then welded by a TIG welding torch 3 to form a TIG weld bead 7. By this method, the resin layer 4 of the high damping steel plate 1 is burnt down or carbonized to form a blowhole 6. Afterward, a wire 10 is molten down by using a MIG or MAG welding torch 9. By this method, the blowhole 6 is filled up and covered by a fine MIG or MAG weld bead 8 and oil is prevented from penetrating into the resin layer 4.

くなってしまう為である。通常の溶接ではガスが出るだ
め溶接ビードにブローホールが発生するため、穴の周囲
の樹脂層を取9除くなど、工作上のトラブルが多くノ・
イコストとなる欠点がある。
