Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce man-hours for attaching a leg, by a method wherein the fixed leg and a decorative frame covering the fixed leg and provided along the whole width of the main body of the refrigerator are assembled preliminarily by screws and the assembled body is attached to the main body of the refrigerator simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a refrigerator is provided with fixed legs 11, 12 attached to the fore part and the rear part of the bottom surface thereof while the fore fixed leg 12 is provided with a receiving section 12a for screwing an adjustment leg 13 and a wheel 12b. A decorative frame 14 covering the fixed leg 11 and extended along the whole width of the main body 8 of the refrigerator is provided with a retaining piece formed integrally with the decorative frame 14 at both ends thereof. The bottom surface of the main body 8 of the refrigerator is provided with flange back holes 15. The fixed leg 12 and the decorative frame 14 are assembled previously temporarily by screws 16 while the decorative frame 14 and the fixed leg 12, constituted integrally, are attached to the flange back holes 15.
