Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the selective call of both terminal equipments of tone and digital systems by providing a tone/digital signal switching circuit outputting one of a tone signal and a digital signal as a selective call signal. CONSTITUTION:A voice selective call signal switching circuit 3 is thrown to the position of a selective call signal and a tone digital signal switching circuit 14 is thrown to the position of a tone signal generating circuit 4. Then a tone signal 5 is outputted from the tone signal generating circuit 4 and a transmission signal 6 is obtained through the circuit 14 and a selective call signal circuit 3 and the result is outputted as a tone selective call signal. Then a control circuit 2 switches the circuit 14 to the position of the digital signal generating circuit 13, and a digital signal 15 is outputted from the circuit 13. The signal 15 passes through the circuit 14 and becomes a signal 6 through the circuit 3 as the selective call signal and outputted as the digital selective signal. Thus, the selective call signal is outputted by the tone system and the digital system and the signal is called by a terminal equipment of the tone and digital systems.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of selective calling device has been constructed as shown in FIG. When a person operates the operation unit 1, the control circuit 2
takes in the operation information and a selective call operation is started. First, the voice/selective call signal switching circuit 3 switches to the selective call signal side, and then the tone signal generating circuit 4 operates and outputs a tone signal 5. This signal 5 is transferred to the voice/selective call signal switching circuit 3. becomes the sending signal 6. This signal 6 passes through the amplifier circuit 7 and becomes the signal output 8. Since the control circuit 2 switches the voice/selective call signal switching circuit 3 to the voice signal side, the signal 6 passes through the voice circuit 9 and the amplifier circuit 7 to the microphone 1.
The audio signal 11 from 0 becomes the signal output 8, and audio notification becomes possible. The tone signal generation circuit 3 was developed in 1963.
From 382.5 Hz to 847.5 H as stipulated in the Radio Law as stated in Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Notification No. 515.

PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION In recent years, in addition to the conventional tone method, it has become acceptable to send selective calling signals using a digital method. However, with the selective calling device designed according to the conventional radio law,
Since the selective calling signal generation circuit uses only tone signals, there is a problem that it cannot support digital systems.

Users are forced to choose between tone and digital systems. Particularly, the problem in this case is that a tone selective calling system is installed as existing equipment, and if the center equipment becomes obsolete and an attempt is made to replace it with the latest equipment, a significant problem will occur.

For this reason, it is best to limit the changes to only a portion of the terminal device. However, it is not possible to adapt to the digital system by slightly modifying the selected calling section of a tone-based terminal device, so either the selected calling section or the terminal device itself must be replaced, which increases the amount of work, construction period, and construction cost. There is a problem.

Next, the operation of the generating section 12 will be explained based on the transmission procedure shown in FIG. When a person operates the operation unit 1, operation information is input to the control circuit 2 and a selective calling operation is started. First of all,
The voice/selective call signal switching circuit 3 switches to the selective call signal side, and the tone/digital signal switching circuit 14 switches to the tone signal generation circuit 4 side. The signal generation circuit 4 operates to generate the tone signal 5. is output. This signal 5
passes through the tone/digital signal switching circuit 14 and is input as a selective calling signal to the audio/selective calling signal switching circuit 3, and passes through this audio/selective calling signal switching circuit 3 to become the sending signal 6. Furthermore, it passes through an amplifier circuit 7 and is output as a tone selection call signal A. After sending out the tone selection call signal A, the control circuit 2 switches the tone/digital signal switching circuit 1 to the tone/digital signal switching circuit 1.

This signal 15 passes through the tone/digital signal switching circuit 14 as a selective calling signal, passes through the voice/selective calling signal switching circuit 3, and becomes the sending signal 6. Furthermore, it passes through an amplifier circuit 7 and is output as a digital selection call signal. After the sending of the digital selection calling signal is finished, the control circuit 2 switches the voice/selective calling signal switching circuit 3 to the audio side. When the sending of the 0 selection calling signal is finished, the operator starts voice notification B using the microphone 10. When the voice report ends and the operator performs a report end operation on the operation unit 1, the control circuit 2 starts sending out a call end signal. Similarly to the selective call signal, the call termination signal is a digital signal that is sent out following the tone signal. C is a tone end signal.

In the above embodiment, the tone selective calling signal A is outputted before the digital selective calling signal, but the same is true even if the digital selective calling signal precedes the tone selective calling signal A. The same applies to the end-of-call signal, regardless of which one comes first.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, there is a tone signal generation circuit that generates a tone selection call signal, a digital signal generation circuit that generates a digital selection call signal, and a signal output from the tone signal generation circuit and the digital signal generation circuit. Since the tone/digital signal switching circuit that outputs one of the two signals as a selective calling signal following the other as a selective calling signal constitutes the 9 selective calling signal generation section, the selective calling signal is output in both the tone method and the digital method. This can be called by any type of digital terminal device, making it possible to add and mix a new digital signal system to the existing tone signal system in the municipal disaster prevention administrative radio fixed system. It is.
