Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject ink having excellent resistance to the drying of a pen and maintaining good writing performance, by adding a lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) to an ink composition containing a colorant, a resin and an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink can be produced by adding preferably 0.05-1wt.% of a lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) of formula (R is alkyl) to an ink composition containing a colorant, a resin (e.g., rosin, ester gum or ketone resin) and an organic solvent (e.g., lower alcohol, ether, ketone solvent or ester solvent).

(Prior Art) Inks for marking pens are required to dry lines instantly on the writing surface, and therefore volatile solvents are often used. On the other hand, there is a contradictory and difficult problem in that pen nibs are required to suppress drying. In order to solve this problem, conventionally, for example, polyglycerin fatty acid ester was added (Tokukoku Kokko Sho 62-
34352), adding an amino acid derivative (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-166277), and adding an alkylamide or a derivative thereof (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 72118-1989).

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention has excellent drying resistance at the pen tip, and of course does not impair the original performance of the ink for marking pens, such as the dryness of drawn lines on the writing surface and the color tone. To provide an ink for a marking pen that exhibits an effect just by adding a small amount of ordinary additives and has no trouble even when a solvent with poor solubility is used.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the ink for marking pens of the present invention has the following features: 1. Lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) is added to an ink composition containing a colorant, a resin, and an organic solvent. It is characterized by: Here, lecithin is expressed by the following one-stage formula % (R: alkyl group), and not only synthetic lecithin but also natural lecithin extracted from soybeans, egg yolks, etc. with various degrees of purification can be used. It is blended into the ink composition in an amount of 0.01 to 5 parts by weight, preferably 0.05 to 5 parts by weight. As the coloring agent, oil-soluble dyes generally used in oil-based marking pen inks, organic pigments, pigment additives, etc. can be used, and are blended into the ink composition in an amount of 1 to 25% by weight. Resins added for the purpose of adjusting the viscosity of the ink and achieving fixation on the writing surface are generally oil-based marking pens such as rosin, ester gum, keto/resin, phenolic resin, cellulose resin 141, and vinyl polymer. Resins used for commercial inks can be used, and the ink composition contains θ~30
Mix at a ratio of 0. As the organic solvent, low R alcohols, ethers, ketone solvents, ester solvents, aromatic raw charcoal 1 arsenic solvents, etc., which are generally used in oil-based marking pen inks, can be used. ~
It is added in a range of 98% by weight. Note that other additives may be added as necessary.

(Function) Lecithin has surface activity and is adsorbed to the ink surface of the pen tip to form a thin film, thereby preventing evaporation of the solvent and thus suppressing drying of the pen tip.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above test results, the present invention maintains good writing performance even after a cap-off time of 7 m or more has elapsed, that is, the pen nib remains dry easily. Very same as above. Also, regarding drying time, there is no deterioration compared to the comparative example, and there is no improvement in %1 nine-point adhesion, and there is no deterioration of the final ink performance. Furthermore, even when used with bath agents such as lower alcohols and ether gins, which have poor bath dissolution properties, there are no paperbacks available, so the limitations of static agents can be accommodated.
