DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a sheet having moisture permeability and waterproof properties. Specifically, the present invention relates to a moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet used for partition wall materials such as wall base materials of buildings.

(従来の技術) 従来、建築物の壁下地材(以下、ハウスラップと称す。(Conventional technology) Conventionally, wall base materials for buildings (hereinafter referred to as house wrap) have been used.

) Asphalt felt was used as a material for waterproofing construction, taking advantage of its excellent waterproof properties. However, in recent years, construction methods for preventing dew condensation inside the outer walls of buildings have become popular (for example, outer wall ventilation construction methods for wooden houses). As a result, asphalt felt, which has traditionally been used for house wrap, is required not only to be waterproof, but also to have moisture permeability that allows moisture to leak from the indoor side to prevent internal condensation.

However, conventional asphalt felt has excellent waterproofness but extremely low moisture permeability because it is made of base paper made mainly of waste paper or asbestos that is sufficiently impregnated with asphalt. Additionally, it has drawbacks such as poor durability due to a decrease in strength when the base paper is wet.

The asphalt-impregnated sheet of the present invention has moisture permeability (moisture permeability)
, with a good balance of waterproofness (water pressure resistance). That is, it becomes a moisture permeable/waterproof sheet having a moisture permeability of 700 to 3500 g/rd/24h and a water pressure resistance of 150 to 350 mn+HzO. If the basis weight and porosity are outside the range, the moisture-permeable/waterproof sheet will be outside the above-mentioned range, and it is also unfavorable from the viewpoint of strength and economy.

Next, as the material for the nonwoven sheet, polyester long fibers are suitable from the viewpoints of the strength of the moisture permeable/waterproof sheet, strong wet retention, dimensional stability, and heat resistance during processing.

In addition, as a manufacturing method for a non-woven sheet, a spunbond method can be mentioned, and as a method of adhesion or joining after web production, a non-woven sheet that is thermo-pressed (thermo-embossed) using a thermal calendar is preferable, and the fused area by thermo-compression bonding is preferable. If it is less than 20%, uneven adhesion is less likely to occur during asphalt impregnation. If the fused area is less than 4%, the original shape cannot be maintained.

The first feature of the present invention is that the voids formed from the single fibers constituting the nonwoven sheet are impregnated with petroleum asphalt, leaving micropores, without being completely covered with petroleum asphalt, resulting in a moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet. The key is that it was able to achieve moisture permeability while retaining the waterproof properties of petroleum asphalt. Therefore, the asphalt impregnation rate needs to be 100 to 250 wt%. If the impregnation rate is less than 100 wt%, the porosity of the impregnated sheet will be large and sufficient waterproofing will not be obtained. When the impregnation rate is 250% or more than 1t%, a continuous layer of asphalt is formed.
Poor moisture permeability. Note that the asphalt impregnation rate becomes smaller when the fused area of the nonwoven sheet is large.

.. A 5% nonwoven sheet was obtained. Using this nonwoven sheet as a base material, a moisture permeable/waterproof sheet was obtained by impregnating it with blown asphalt. The physical properties of this sheet are shown in Table 1. As comparative examples, currently commercially available asphalt felt products weighing 17 kg (Comparative Example-1) and 22 kg (Comparative Example-2) were used. As shown in Table 1, the moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet of the present invention (Example 1) has a better balance of moisture permeability and water pressure resistance than commercially available asphalt felt, and also has better retention when wet. .
