断面横長矩形状であっても良く、また断面円形状のもの
であっても良い。後者の場合には複数個設けることが好

がり部分はグラインダー等により適宜切削除去すること
が好ましい。而して、外観体裁を良好にして、それでい
て単なる従来のピン止めによる方法と較べて強度的にす
ぐれたものとなしうる。

部が露見されない態様で上記連結片とリム材とを溶接す
るものである。従って対向端面どおしを溶接固定するフ
ラッシュパッド溶接による場合のように、リムとしての
使用時に外観される内周面側を含む接合部全周にいわゆ
るパリができることかない。従って外観体裁の悪化を招
ごともなく、しかも上記パリを除去するための全周に亘
るバフ研磨等の仕上げ処理作業を不要としうる。またビ
ンのみを用いて固定する方法による場合のように、充分
な連結強度を保持せしめるべくビンを連結片嵌入孔へ圧
入状態に嵌合する面倒な作業を省略しうるばかりでなく
、リム材と連結片とを相互に溶接することにより接合一
体化するものであるため、経時的にガタ付きが生じるよ
うなこともなく、リムとしての耐久性を向上しつる。
