Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent discharging of bubbles by housing an antifoaming agent to a primary side of a hollow fiber filter, i.e., a raw water inflow port side. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of the hollow fiber 5 provided with fine pores on the surface are bundled and are housed in a case 6 having a water inflow port and a water outflow port and a packing material (e.g., synthetic resin) to pack the spacings among the pieces of the hollow fiber 5 is provided in the case 6. A surfactant is coated on the surfaces of the hollow yarn 5 and the antifoaming agents 15-18 are housed to the raw water inflow port side of the hollow fiber 5 in the case 6. As a result, the bubbles on the primary side of the hollow fiber filter can be removed by the effect of the above- mentioned antifoaming agents even if the bubbles are generated by the dissolution of the surfactant. Since the bubbles in the filtered water are decreased, a user is able to use the water comfortably from the beginning.

A hollow fiber filter is a type of filter that filters water using the micropores on the hollow fiber wall. During use, water permeates the wall from the outside of the hollow fiber and flows into the inside of the hollow fiber.
At this time, the dust in the water is filtered, and the water that has flowed into the hollow fiber flows out from the opening at the end of the hollow fiber.

以下、従来の濾過器について図面に基づいて説明する。Hereinafter, a conventional filter will be explained based on the drawings.

That is, a synthetic resin is filled between the gaps between the plurality of hollow fibers 5 and between the hollow fibers 5 and the inner wall of the hollow fiber filter case 6, and this synthetic resin prevents water from passing outside the hollow fibers. A hollow fiber 5 is fixed inside a hollow fiber filter case 6. 7 is a filtrate water outlet provided in the hollow fiber filter case 6. 8 is an activated carbon case, which has an inlet 9 for raw water at the bottom and granular activated carbon 10 as a filter medium inside.
A mesh filter 1 is installed so as to prevent backflow and outflow of the granular activated carbon 10 back and forth in the direction of water flow in the activated carbon storage section.

Next, the usage status will be explained. When in use, pass water through the filter along the arrows shown in Figure 2. That is, the raw water supplied from the water supply pipe 2 is discharged after residual chlorine and the like are removed by the granular activated carbon 10, and turbid components such as iron rust and general bacteria are removed by the hollow fiber filter composed of the hollow fibers 5. By the way, in order to allow water to pass through the hollow fibers 5, it is desirable to make the hollow fibers 5 hydrophilic. For this purpose, it is necessary to coat the surface of the hollow fibers 5 with a surfactant that is harmless to the human body. This may allow water to enter the micropores of the hollow fibers 5.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, simply applying a surfactant leaves the following problems. In other words, for a while after the start of use, the amount of surfactant mixed into the filtered water is relatively large (this surfactant causes the filtered water to foam violently, and the foam is discharged L). Of course, it is not harmful to the human body, but since it is used for drinking, such foam gives the user the feeling that something harmful to the human body may be dissolved, and it is extremely dangerous. It was something that was hated by people.

By having more than one effect, the foam generated on the primary side of the hollow fiber filter among the bubbles generated by the dissolution of the surfactant is extinguished by the action of the antifoaming agent. Moreover, since the place where the antifoaming agent is stored is on the primary side of the hollow fiber filter, the antifoaming agent is prevented from flowing out by the hollow fiber filter.

It is applied to the side walls of the inlet 9 provided at the bottom of the case 8, respectively. In either case, the silicone antifoaming agent is applied to the primary side of the hollow fiber filter constituted by the hollow fibers 5, that is, the raw water inlet side. Silicone antifoaming agents have a very low surface tension (when this silicone antifoaming agent comes in contact with water, it becomes very fine particles and disperses in the water, causing them to float in the water.

Next, the usage status will be explained. When in use, water is passed through the filter along the arrows shown in FIG. 1 in the same way as in the conventional filter. At this time, residual chlorine and the like are removed by the granular activated carbon 10, and turbid components such as iron rust and general bacteria are removed by the hollow fiber filter made up of the hollow fibers 5. The particles of the silicone antifoaming agent gather on the surface of the hollow fibers 5 by the water flow, and act to prevent foam from forming on the surface of the hollow fibers 5. However, the pores on the surface of the hollow fibers 5 are very small, and the silicone defoaming agent does not pass through these pores.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention has the effect of inserting an antifoaming agent into the primary side of the hollow fiber filter, that is, the raw water inlet side.
Even if the surface active agent dissolves, the action of the above-mentioned antifoaming agent can eliminate the foam generated on the side of the hollow fiber filter, resulting in fewer bubbles in the filtered water. Therefore, the user can use the product comfortably from the beginning.Furthermore, since the place where the antifoaming agent is stored is on the next side of the hollow fiber filter, the antifoaming agent is prevented from flowing out by the hollow fiber filter. As described above, the present invention makes it possible to provide a filter that can be used very comfortably, especially for drinking water, and has great practical effects.
