Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently enable sorting coin by providing a coin kind identification section and sorting coins of a selected kind irrespectively of the diameter of the coins so as to process a desired kind of coins first. CONSTITUTION:Coins sent from a coin inserting section 3 are arranged in a one-layer and one-row state at a path entrance section after they are arranged in a one-layer state at a coin sending device 5. Then the arranged coins are successively fed toward the downstream to a post-processing section 9 through a coin separating path 8 constituted of a coin kind identification section, coin inhibiting section, and coin separating path section. The coin kind identification section identifies the classification of the coins and the coin inhibiting section inhibits the passage of the coins. Moreover, the coin sorting path section passes the coins of a set kind and, at the same time, discharges coins of larger and smaller diameters. A coin piling-up section 11 is provided as the post-processing 9 and coins are wrapped at every specific number. Since the coins of an arbitrary kind selected irrespectively of the diameter, such as the kind of the most abundant coins, can be processed first, the coin processing work can be performed efficiently.

(Prior art) When counting, wrapping, etc. coins in conventional coin counting machines, coin wrapping machines, etc., the diameter of the coins to be counted or wrapped is smaller than that of the designated denomination. If a small coin is mixed in, it is possible to remove that coin, but if a coin with a larger diameter than the specified denomination coin is mixed in, it is impossible to remove that coin. this is,
In conventional coin counting machines and coin wrapping machines, the general coin passageway used to sort and count coins one by one for counting and wrapping is divided into passageways with widths depending on the diameter of coins of the specified denomination. In other words, by adjusting the width of both edges of the drop hole in the center area of the passage, coins of the specified denomination will be guided by the edges of the drop hole on both sides and pass over the passage, and the coins of the designated denomination will be This was because small coins would fall from the drop hole without landing on either side edge of the drop hole and be removed, but coins with a diameter larger than the designated denomination would get stuck at the entrance of the coin passage.

Furthermore, coins of designated denominations that are guided by the edges of the drop hole on both sides of the drop hole and passed over the coin passage are counted by a sensor installed downstream of the coin passage, so the number of coins can only be counted by coins of designated denominations. There were only seeds.

In addition, in conventional coin counting machines and coin packaging machines, a plurality of sorting slots are provided in the coin passage in order from small diameter to large diameter, and coins of denominations from small diameter to large diameter are sorted by transferring over the sorting slots. The coins sorted by denomination are counted,
There is a method of packaging and other processing, but there are problems in that 4-4 construction is complicated and expensive.

By the way, 500 yen coins are larger in diameter than 10 yen coins and 100 yen coins, but their circulation is not so large. Therefore, there are cases where coins that are processed in a small number are processed before coins that are processed in a large number, which is inefficient.

57b is stretched. This gripping row 556 is supported at a height position slightly smaller than the thickness of the thinnest coin among the coins to be processed with respect to the bottom plate 55 by a downward bias by a spring (not shown) and a downwardly restricting stopper (not shown). , is rotated by the drive of the motor M1, presses the coins entering from the supply disk 6 to the lower side of the roller 56, and takes them into the coin sorting passage 8 one by one. Further, one of the conveyor belts 57a is a flat belt with a flat outer surface and stretched between grooved pulleys 58a and 59a, and the other conveyor belt 57b is a round belt and is stretched between grooved pulleys 58b and 59b. A259a, 58b, and 59b are rotatably supported with respect to the bottom plate 55 at a height position slightly smaller than the thickness of the thinnest coin among the coins to be processed by a downward bias by a spring (not shown) and a drop restriction stopper. The grooved pulley 59a is the motor M1, and the grooved pulley 59a is
9b are each rotated by a motor Mz (shown in FIG. 6), and conveyor belts 57a and 57b press against the upper surface of the coin taken in by the gripper roller 56 to convey it through the coin sorting passage 8. In addition, the gripping roller 56
The circumferential speed of the conveyor belt 57a is set faster than the circumferential speed of the conveyor belt 57a, and the circumferential speed of the conveyor belt 57b is set faster than the circumferential speed of the conveyor belt 57a. The reason for setting the difference is that by spacing the coins taken in by the gripping roller 56, identification by the denomination identification section 68 (described later) can be ensured, and the large diameter and small diameter of coins of a predetermined denomination, described later, are determined. There are two reasons for ensuring the removal of coins and the reason for setting the peripheral speed difference between both conveyor belts 57a and 57b.
Even if two coins are placed in a row under the conveyor belt 57a near the grooved pulley 58a by blocking the transfer of the coins by the coin blocking section 72, which will be described later, the following Conveyor belt 57 when restarting coin conveyance
This is because consideration was given to creating a sufficient space between coins by transferring them from a to the conveyor belt 57b. Furthermore, the gripping roller 56 and the grooved pulley 59a are driven by the same motor M1, but the peripheral speed is determined by the ratio of the transmission gear from the motor M1 to the gripping roller 56 and the transmission gear to the grooved boob 959a. are configured differently.

When the lower belt portion of the conveyor belt 57b at position 102 is restricted from moving in the width direction of the path, that is, in the direction orthogonal to the running direction of the belt, the intermediate portion thereof, that is, the roller 1
The part of the belt that 01 comes into contact with is configured to be guided so as to be movable in the width direction of the passageway, that is, in the direction orthogonal to the running direction of the belt, so that the coin can move in the widthwise direction of the passageway along the rotating disk 83. At the same time, the accompanying roller 101
Reaction force of the deflection of the conveyor belt 57b in the path width direction at the position (restoring force of the conveyor belt 57b trying to become straight)
This allows the coin to fall into the small-diameter coin removal slot 85 and be removed while it is in contact with the innermost part of the rotating disk 83 (the peripheral edge that intersects with the axis of the roller 101).

Then, in the coin sorting passage 8 configured as described above, the selected denomination coin is guided to the post-processing section 9, and the coins with a larger diameter and smaller diameter than the coin of the selected denomination are removed. Explain. First, for example, when extracting only coins of a predetermined denomination from a mixture of coins of different diameters, the coin sorting member 92 is moved in the passage width direction by rotation of the adjustment cam 98, and the coin sorting member 92 is moved in the width direction of the passage, and The passage regulation width i3 and the groove width 14 are set to a valley width corresponding to the selected denomination coin.

Then, when the supply disk 6 is rotated after a coin is put into the upper surface of the supply disk 6, the centrifugal force caused by the rotation causes the coin to move along the circumference of the disk, and the thickness regulating member 7 facing a part of the circumference of the disk is moved. When sent to the lower part, each coin becomes a single layer and is fed into the passage entrance part 60 of the coin sorting passage 8.

The coins fed into the passage entrance 60 enter under the gripping roller 56, and when the coins are transferred from the gripping roller 56 to the next conveyor belt 57a with a faster circumferential speed, there is a gap between the coins. Further, at the position of the reference gate portion 61, the coin interval is further increased when the coins are transferred from the conveyor belt 57a to the next conveyor belt 57b having a faster circumferential speed.

Then, the conveyor belt 5 enters the reference gate part 61 and
All the coins transferred at 7b contact the peripheral edge of the rotating disk 83. In other words, coins that are transferred closer to the passage side plate 62 on one side of the passage are transferred to the introduction edge 6 of this passage side plate 62.
6 to the center of the passageway and guided to the peripheral edge of the rotating disk 83.On the other hand, coins that approach the other side of the passageway side plate 63 side and enter the passageway side plate 63 are guided to the center of the passageway by the regulating edge 65 of this passageway side plate 63 and the rotating disk. Since the distance 12 from the rotating disk 83 is set to be shorter than the diameter of the smallest coin to be processed, it always comes into contact with the peripheral edge of the rotating disk 83.

Further, for a coin having a larger diameter than the coin of the selected denomination, one side of the lower surface is placed on the guide surface section 87 and the other side is brought into contact with the rotating disk 83 so that the coin is placed on the introduction surface section 9 of the coin sorting member 92.
3 and rides on the guide surface part 95 through the inclined surface 96, and is transported by the conveyor belt 57b with this side tilted downward and passes through the small diameter coin removal groove part 85, but in the direction of transport. Since the coins are not guided by the diameter regulating edge 88 like a predetermined diameter coin, they are in the direction in which the conveyor belt 57b is stretched, and therefore, the guide is provided with the downstream side facing the outside of the passage with respect to the direction in which the conveyor belt 57b is stretched. Note that the lower belt portion of the conveyor belt 57b on the side of the rotating disk 83 is supported movably in the width direction of the passage by rollers 101, and as the coins in contact with the rotating disk 83 move to the other side of the passage. Because the belt part can be displaced by
The movement of the coins to the other side of the passage becomes easy, and the coins can be pressed against the rotating disk 83 by the reaction force caused by the displacement of the belt portion, and the sorting criteria for the sorting slots 84 are determined, and the coins can be sorted reliably. Ru. In addition, since the lower belt portion of the conveyor belt 57b on the upstream and downstream sides of the roller 101 is supported by the grooved pulleys 58b and 102 while restricting its movement in the width direction of the passage, the movement of the belt portion to the other side of the passage is prevented. The following coins are moved away from the rotating disk 83, and the large-diameter coins that have advanced to the large-diameter coin removal slot 86 are moved to one side of the passage by moving the belt portion to one side of the passage. It is possible to prevent defects in sorting, such as allowing large coins to pass over the slot 86 for removing large coins.

In addition, by using the highly elastic conveyor belt 57b, the same effect as the roller 101 can be obtained even if a grooved pulley is used in place of the roller 101. In other words, the same effect as the roller 101 can be obtained. On the other hand, while the wrapping paper 18 is being wound around the circumferential surface of the stacked coins by the wrapping roller 19, the winding hook mechanism 21 is operated by the winding hook cam of the cam line shaft 26. That is,
The pair of upper and lower retracting hooks 21a of this retracting hook mechanism 21 first move forward in the coin radial direction from the fixed position on the vertical side of the stacked coins to be located above and below the stacked coins, and then move to the top and bottom of the stacked coins. The winding hook 21a moves toward the upper and lower end surfaces of the stacked coins, contacts the top and bottom of the wrapping paper 18 being wound around the circumferential surface of the coin, and the ends of the wrapping paper 18 protruding from the top and bottom of the stacked coins. Roll up the edges and wrap. At the same time, the support rod of the guide mechanism 20 moves directly below from the bottom surface of the stacked coins, then moves to the side and returns to its home position. It should be noted that at the time when the support rod starts lowering, it is just before the winding hook 21a finishes winding the wrapping paper 18, and when the winding operation is finished, each winding hook 2
1a first moves away from the stacked coins in the vertical direction, and then retreats in the radial direction of the stacked coins.
