Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the fracture of an edge part so that the cutlery withstands bending by joining and combining the edge part of ceramics and both or one side part made of plastic or metal, then polishing the edge part. CONSTITUTION:The ceramics plate 3 of the cutlery is sandwiched by stainless steel plates 1, 2 of the same cutlery shape from both side parts. These plates are then adhered and combined by an inorg. adhesive agent having water resistance and heat resistance. The edge part 3 is polished after adhering and joining. The ceramics plate 3 is held by the viscosity, elasticity and toughness of the stainless steel sheets 1, 2 on both sides and, therefore, the fracture is prevented. Since the repetitive polishing is possible, the cutlery is usable for a long period of time.

Ceramic knives are superior to metal knives in that they are hard, sharp, rust-free, and do not require hardening. However, all-ceramic blades are brittle as a whole, have little elasticity, and sometimes break, are difficult to polish during use, are porous, easily stain, and are expensive. -It was rarely used for boat fishing.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) As mentioned above, the sharpness and rust-free property of ceramic cutlery,
There has been a desire for a cutlery that combines the properties of plastics and metals, such as viscosity, elasticity, and toughness. For example, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-53265, a ceramic blade part,
A blade is proposed which is configured to be fixed by shrink-fitting to a metal support part. However, in this idea, the ceramic blade requires precision shrink fitting, and the only consideration is that the ceramic blade is disposable and should be discarded without polishing once it becomes no longer sharp. The drawback was that the expensive ceramic blades were thrown away without being used.

In this way, the hardness, sharpness, and sfj properties of the ceramic blade are utilized, and the disadvantages such as brittleness and breakage are compensated for by the advantages of the other parts, such as the elasticity and toughness of the metal. It can be used as a composite ceramic cutlery that has both.
