Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve frequency setting accuracy, by controlling a local oscillator and a preselector with a common reference control signal, and detecting and correcting the deviation from nonlinearity with respect to the local oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The output of a local oscillator 14 is branched at a branching circuit 25. The frequency of the output is divided through a frequency divider 26. The output is converted into a voltage through an FV converter 27. An error signal between the output of the FV converter 27 and a reference control signal is generated in an error generating device 28. The signal is synthesized with the reference control signal in a synthesizing circuit 23, and a control signal for the local oscillator 14 is obtained. The deviation with respect to a linear control characteristic in a preselector 12 is stored in a correcting data memory 34. The deviation is read out in synchronization with timing (d) generated in a reference control signal generator 22 and converted into an analog signal in a DA converter 35.
