【発明の詳細な説明】
〔概 要〕
ヘツドに与えられる振動を抑制するための手段
を改良した情報記録再生デイスク装置に関し、
空気流によるヘツド支持系の振動を抑制して読
取り、書込みエラーなしに読取り、書込みを為す
ことを目的とし、
先端に浮上形ヘツドを有し、情報記録再生デイ
スクをアクセスするヘツド支持系から該情報記録
再生デイスクの回転方向へ所定距離だけ進んだ位

スク面から微小なすきまで浮上しているスライダ
上に取付けられ、そのスライダは曲げ方向にやわ
らかいばねをもつジンバルを介してアクセスアー

こすことがあつてヘツドによる情報の読取り、書
込みにエラーを生じさせてしまうことがあつた。
このような不具合は、最近の高記録密度デイスク

うものである。この手段によれば、スポイラbに
より空気流が塞き止められるため、デイスク間の
空気流の速度はかなり低下される。なお、第6図
において、cはジンバル、dはヘツドを取り付け
ているスライダ、eはヘツド駆動モータ、fはデ
イスク、gはベース及びカバーである。

スク装置を構成したものである。

を行なうアクセス機構3が又、本体1に取り付け
られている。アクセス機構3はモータ4と、モー
タ4の出力軸に取り付けられたアーム5と、ジン
バル6と、ヘツドを取り付けたスライダ7とから
成る。アーム5と、ジンバル6と、スライダ7と
はヘツド支持系9を構成している。ヘツド支持系
9の下流側に整流板8が取り付けられている。整
流板8は磁気デイスクの枚数だけ有し、第3図に
示す如き櫛型構造をなしている。

イスクとの間の空気流の可視表示を模式的に描い
た第4図から判るように、整流板8の上流側の領
域Aでは、ほぼきれいな層流状態で且つ流速も遅
い(第5図も参照。この第5図は整流板付近の周
方向平均流速の測定結果を示す。)のに対し、整
流板8の下流側の領域Bでは、かなり乱れの多い
乱流で且つ流速もかなり大きい(第5図参照)こ

するから、上述の如く、流速が遅くなると、加振
力が大幅に減少されることとなる。つまり、振動
抑制効果を向上させることが出来、読取り、書込
みエラーも少なくなる。その効果は高記録密度の
場合に有効に効いて来るので、そのような装置に
有用性を与える。なお、ここで流速はデイスク間
流速であり、スライダを浮上させているデイスク
のごく近傍の流れには殆ど影響しないためスライ
ダ浮上特性に関しては通常とまつたく異なるとこ

(1) ヘツド支持系の空気流による振動を高度に抑
制し、
(2) これにより読取り、書込みのエラーを少なく
し、高記録密度装置の実現を容易にする等の効
果が得られる。
