DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Field of Application) The present invention relates to a printing ink composition, and more particularly to a printing ink composition having excellent storage stability.

(Prior art) Conventionally, printing inks have been oil-based or neutral (water-in-oil emulsion), but oil-based inks have odor and toxicity, and neutral emulsions have instability. Therefore, in recent years, pigments, alkali-soluble resins,
Water-based printing inks containing high-boiling point organic solvents as their main ingredients have come into use.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, when the printing ink is stored for a long period of time,
The so-called "water gushing" phenomenon occurs when the liquid in the ink separates into the upper layer, and the problem is that it must be stirred and mixed before use.To prevent this "water gushing" phenomenon, This can be achieved by increasing the proportion of powder such as pigments and fillers in the printing ink, or by increasing the proportion of alkali-soluble resin, but if the proportion of powder is increased, The problem is that the abrasion resistance of the printed print becomes weaker, reducing the durability of the work. Also, when the proportion of resin is increased, the threadability of the print ink becomes stronger, making it difficult to use the ink with a roller, etc. When transferring to a woodblock,
-The ink that has been transferred to the block is pulled by rollers and becomes uneven on the block, resulting in problems such as deteriorating the quality of the work. No solution has been found that does not cause a decrease in abrasion resistance or an excessive light-repelling property of the printing ink.

(Means for Solving the Problems) Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned disadvantages, the inventors have developed a "water spring"
In order to obtain a print ink composition that prevents this phenomenon, has excellent storage stability, and does not reduce the abrasion resistance of the print or cause excessive stringiness of the print ink, the present invention was finally completed. The present invention relates to a printing ink comprising at least a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, and a high-boiling water-soluble organic solvent, which is characterized by containing an alkali-thickened acrylic emulsion. The gist is an ink composition.

(Function) The print ink composition according to the present invention has no "water springing property" and is excellent in storage stability, and also has excellent abrasion resistance for a single print, and the print ink composition has appropriate threadability. One reason is that in the print ink composition, the resin particles of the alkali-thickened acrylic emulsion swell, and this swollen product and alkali-soluble resin intertwine, suppressing the settling of pigments and fillers, and causing "water gushing". In addition, by using an alkali-thickened acrylic emulsion, the amount of powder used can be reduced, improving the abrasion resistance of prints.
Since the alkali-thickened acrylic 1-mulsion has no stringiness, it is presumed that it does not impart excessive stringiness.
