Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable only a duplicate image to be transferred, by a method wherein the duplicate image is formed on a first substrate to obtain an original paper, a pressure sensitive adhesive film of a second substrate is adhered to the duplicate image by pressing, thereby transferring a pressure sensitive adhesive onto the duplicate image on the original paper to obtain a transfer paper, and pressing the adhesive side of the transfer paper against a surface of an object to transfer the duplicate image onto the surface of the object. CONSTITUTION:A duplicate image 2 to be transferred is formed on a surface of a releasable first substrate 1 to obtain an original paper 3. A pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to one side of a releasable second substrate 4 to provide a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 5, thereby obtaining a pressure sensitive adhesive film 6. The duplicate image 2 of the original paper 3 is placed on the adhesive layer 5 of the adhesive film 6, and the film 6 and the paper 3 are adhered to each other under pressure. The second substrate 6 of the film 6 is released. A part of the adhesive layer 5 on the film 6 is adhered to the duplicate image 2 on the original paper 3, while the other parts of the layer 5 are removed as being adhered to the second substrate 1, whereby a transfer paper 7 can be obtained which comprises the adhesive layer 5 adheree to the duplicate image 2 on the first substrate 1. The transfer paper 7 is placed on an object 8 so that the adhesive layer 5 makes contact with a surface of the object 8, and is pressed against the object 8, whereby the duplicate image 2 is provided on the surface of the object 8.

However, the method of directly drawing images requires a lot of effort when forming images on a plurality of articles, and there are problems in that the uniformity of the images is poor. Furthermore, in the method of pasting a copy, an image support such as paper is also pasted at the same time, making it impossible to form only an image on the surface of the article, which limits the possibilities of expression.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In the present invention, (a) a copy image is formed on a first base material having releasable properties by electrophotography to form a base paper, and (b) a second base material having releasable properties is used as a base paper. An adhesive film made by applying an adhesive to a material is +-C attached so that the adhesive side is in contact with the copied image of the base paper, (c) then, the second base material is peeled off,
Transfer the adhesive onto the copied image of the Lt paper to make a transfer paper,
(iv) The method of solving this problem is to press the adhesive side of the transfer paper against the surface of the object, peel off the first base material, and transfer the copied image.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, a copy image 2 to be transferred to the surface of a first base material 1, which determines peelability, is formed to form a base paper 3. Here, as the base material 1 having release performance, a plastic film such as a polypropylene film, a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, a polyethylene film, a release paper treated with a silicone resin, or the like is used. The copy image 2 is formed by an ordinary electrophotographic method such as xerography.
A copy image @2 from the original image is formed on the base material 11. On this occasion,
A color copy image 2 may be obtained using a color electrophotographic device. In addition, when forming the copied image 2, the original is once copied onto a transparent film, this copied transparent film is turned over and copied again, and a reversed copy image @2 is made on the first base material 1. When it is formed, the image is reversed again when it is copied onto the surface of the object in a subsequent process, and the transferred image with the turned over () eliminated is preferably 1 wa.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a second base material 4 having peelability is prepared, and one surface of the second base material 4 is coated with an adhesive to form an adhesive layer 5 to form an adhesive film 6. As the second base t44 having peeling performance, the first base having peeling performance described above is used.
The same material as the base material 1 may be used. In addition, as an adhesive,
The material may be similar to those used for general adhesive tapes. The thickness of the adhesive layer 5 is about 50 to 500 microns.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the copy image @2 of the base paper 3 is overlapped on the adhesive layer 5 of the adhesive film 6, and the adhesive film 6 and the base paper 3 are pressed together.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the second base material 4 of the adhesive film 6 is peeled off. As a result of this peeling, a part of the adhesive layer 5 on the adhesive film 6 sticks to the copy image@2 on the base paper 3, and the other part remains attached to the second base material 1 and is removed. Finally, as shown in FIG. 5, this transfer paper 7 is placed on the object 8 so that its adhesive layer 5 is in contact with the surface of the object, and pressed from above the eaves to transfer the copied image 2 onto the surface of the object 8. Adhesive I? 15

When peeled off, the copied image 2 is transferred and formed on the surface of the object 8. The copy image 2 formed on the surface of the object 8 in this way is attached to the object 8 by the adhesive layer 5.
It firmly adheres to the surface and will not peel off. Note that a transparent synthetic resin film may be formed on the copied image 2 to serve as a protective layer.

According to such a transfer method, only the copied image 2 is transferred to the object 8 without using a support film or the like to support the copied image, so that no extra material other than the image remains on the surface of the object 8, and the object is It's too much to make use of the colors on the surface of 8. In addition, since the base paper 3 can be produced in large quantities using single-child photographs, the same copy image 2 can be formed on the surfaces of many objects 8.Of course, since the printing is done by transfer, the surface shape It is possible to form a copy image fI1.2 even on a complex object 8.

As explained above, the transfer method of the present invention includes (a) forming a copy image on a first base material having releasable properties by electrophotography to form a base paper; (1) forming a copy image on a first base material having releasable properties; An adhesive film made by applying an adhesive to a material is pressed so that the adhesive side is in contact with the copied image of the base paper, and (c) the second base material is peeled off and the adhesive is applied to the base paper. The first base material is then transferred onto a copy image to form a transfer paper, and (d) the adhesive side of the transfer paper is pressed against the surface of the object, the first base material is peeled off, and the copy image is transferred. - Only the copied image can be transferred to the surface of the object. Further, it is possible to easily transfer a copy image to an object having a complicated shape by performing -C. Furthermore, it is possible to transfer the same copy image to many objects, thereby obtaining effects such as -C cutting.
