Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain three-dimensional appearance by heating and embossing the surface of a heat resistant resin coat, coating the embossed surface with a transparent liq. substance convertible into gel by heating and converting the substance into gel by heating. CONSTITUTION:A pattern printed layer 2 and a heat resistant resin layer 3 are successively formed on a thermoplastic resin film 1 having metallic luster to produce a printed film 4. This film 4 is softened by heating and the surface of the layer 3 is embossed to make the surface of the film 1 rugged. The embossed surface is then coated with a transparent liq. or pasty substance 6 and this substance 6 is converted into gel by heating. The film 1 contains powder having metallic luster such as titanium coated mica, copper or tin powder. Thus, a fine design is obtd.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention provides a decorative sheet which has a flat surface and has a three-dimensional effect due to the printed pattern and matching embossment, and has an overall excellent design. This relates to a manufacturing method, and the decorative sheet is used for store interiors, cabinets, genitals, furniture, etc.

<Prior Art> If a decorative sheet with embossed irregularities is heated afterwards, the emboss will return and the irregularities will disappear or become smaller, so generally a step is taken in which no heating is done after embossing. That is, in these conventional techniques, printing was performed on the surface of a colored vinyl chloride film, and then a transparent type of vinyl chloride film was thermally bonded to the surface by a doubling embossing method to form C unevenness on the surface of the transparent vinyl chloride film. Afterwards, there were wiping sheets with colored concave parts, embossed film surfaces with metallic luster, and transparent films laminated to the embossed surfaces by dry lamination, or JP-A-62 -4859
7, there was an attempt to create a three-dimensional effect by coating an embossed surface with a metallic luster with an ultraviolet curing resin.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> In the case of wiping sheets, only the difference in gloss on the surface of a transparent vinyl chloride film is used to express a realistic feeling, but the three-dimensional effect is poor. It also has the disadvantage that the concave portions tend to become dirty due to the accumulation of dirt and the like. In the case of decorative sheets with internal embossing, dry lamination is used to attach a flat base film and an uneven base film, so if the irregularities are deeper than the thickness of the adhesive used for dry lamination, the surface will not be flat. Also, if there was too much difference, air would get mixed in, so deep unevenness could not be created, and the only thing that could be expressed was a wooden conduit with a diameter of less than 30μ. Furthermore, in the case of JP-A No. 62-48597, it is a single color without a pattern, and the resin coated on the surface is an ultraviolet curing resin, making the manufacturing method very expensive.

Means for Solving the Problem> To achieve this object, the present invention prints a pattern on the glossy surface of a thermoplastic film that has a metallic luster on the entire surface or a part of the surface, and coats this pattern surface with a heat-resistant resin. To provide a method for producing a decorative sheet with a three-dimensional effect, which is characterized in that the coated surface is heated and embossed, and then the embossed surface is filled with a transparent liquid or paste-like material that heat-gels, and heat-gels. .

Effects> According to the present invention, a heat-resistant resin is present on the printing surface, and this heat-resistant resin does not melt during embossing and does not adhere to the embossing plate, allowing embossing with high heat resistance. Furthermore, paste-like materials that adhere to liquid materials or the like at the gel temperature of the liquid or paste-like materials should be used to a minimum. For this reason, it is possible to heat and gel using a liquid material, and no return to embossing (return by squeezing) occurs at this time.

As the thermoplastic film (1) having metallic luster, for example, there is a film formed by kneading powder having metallic luster and having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 m. The film may be made of a material that is printable and can be embossed by heating, such as vinyl chloride, acrylic, polyethylene, polypropylene, urethane, or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin.

Alternatively, a thermoplastic film with metallic luster (1)
A thermoplastic base film having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 mm and having metallic luster ink printed on the entire surface or a portion thereof can be used. At this time, it is desirable to use a colored or opaque film as the base film, since metallic luster can be particularly utilized. Further, as the ink having metallic luster, a mixture of the above-mentioned powder with an ink containing vinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, acrylic, urethane, etc. as a binder can be used.

As the pattern ink (2), gravure ink for plastic films containing vinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, acrylic, urethane elastomer, etc. as a binder can be used. The resin (3) for the heat-resistant coating is a resin that has adhesive coating properties, such as vinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, acrylic, or urethane elastomer, and has heat resistance that does not melt when heated during embossing. Resins that have the following properties can be used. In addition, as a paste-like material (6) for filling the embossed surface, 5% of plasticizer is used.
A vinyl chloride resin paste containing 0 to 80 parts is desirable;
Any resin that gels (or solidifies) and becomes transparent or translucent under heating conditions of 250° C. or lower can be used. The paste-like material (6) is used to fill the recessed portion, and there is no need to make it any thicker.

In addition, on top of this gelled paste-like material (6),
Furthermore, the surface can be protected by heat-sealing a transparent film. The transparent film may be any film that can be thermally laminated, such as vinyl chloride or acrylic.

Test Example 1〉 On the surface of a colored vinyl chloride resin film with a thickness of 0.15 cm, solid printing was carried out with a burl ink containing mica-based titanium, using a resin mixed with vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and acrylic as a binder. On top of that, a pattern is printed using a gravure ink using the same resin as a binder, and then a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer with a degree of polymerization of 80 to 1000 is printed to a thickness of 3 to 5 μm to form a printed film. The film printed by the produced 0-order embossing machine was embossed to a depth of 0.3 to 0.5 mm at a surface temperature of 100°C to 200°C, and 0-order embossing was performed to form unevenness on the ink surface. The surface was coated with vinyl chloride paste containing 60 parts of plasticizer to a thickness that covered the unevenness, and gelled at 180''C for 20 seconds to obtain a decorative sheet with a three-dimensional effect.

Test Example 2> Powder with a thickness of 0.2 m with metallic luster was mixed in, and a resin mixed with vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and acrylic was applied as a binder to the surface of a vinyl chloride film with metallic luster on the surface. A pattern was printed with a gravure ink, and then an acrylic resin was printed on it to a thickness of 3 to 5 μm to make a printed film. The surface temperature of the printed film was 180°C to 20°C using an embossing machine. Te0.
Embossed to a depth of 3 to 0.5 m, with unevenness formed on the ink surface. Next, the embossed surface was coated with vinyl chloride paste containing 60 parts of plasticizer to a thickness that covered the unevenness.
A decorative sheet with a three-dimensional effect was obtained by gelling at 80°C for 30 seconds. <Example 3> 0.1 m on the surface of the decorative sheet produced in Examples 1 and 2
When a transparent vinyl chloride film of 200 mm was placed on the sheet and subjected to doubling embossing by heating with a hot drum and a heater, the surface became matte and a matte surface was obtained, and a decorative sheet with good adhesion between the decorative sheet and the transparent vinyl chloride film was obtained. . Also, even with the doubling embossing process, the internal embossment was not squeezed back and the three-dimensional effect remained intact.
